I love the idea of the old train weight on the crane - GREAT idea. (I have several of those kicking around and never thought what I could do with them) If you need more transparent dark blue tiles, it's worth checking the pick-a-brick wall, as they quite often have them in the S'hampton Lego store.

Thanks! I wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t for BrickLink haha. I did wonder if that store would have them as I’ve seen them in there before

@@DailyWeeklyBuilds It's only coz I'm a bit of an old 12v train fan, so I have them in set 7740 (in red) and 7760 (in super-rare blue) and a couple of spare red ones lying around. Yours is the slightly newer one, with the dimples on the ends. The older ones have a join line right down the middle of them!

@MinifigJez yes I saw a few different ones when looking, the one I picked was easiest to get hold of and cheapest and did just the trick :)

@@DailyWeeklyBuildsOh ok thank you where can I find the part list cause this for Back to the future 1 and 2.
@DailyWeeklyBuilds
@DailyWeeklyBuilds 9 күн бұрын
It should appear as an extra file when you buy instructions. Parts and instructions for 1 and 2 are combined, then an extra file for part 3 mods (red wheels and train wheels) it’s only a small handful of extra parts

@@DailyWeeklyBuilds Ok thank you, I’ll look at it, I just need to figure out how to keep track of which parts I bought when I start to get the parts off bricklink. How do I keep track of what I bought and I need more parts? Like there’s a minimum buy from some sellers.
@DailyWeeklyBuilds
@DailyWeeklyBuilds 8 күн бұрын
@@catf1284download the parts list from Rebrickable, upload it to a wanted list on BrickLink. Then in the wanted list press the buy button. It will find all the sellers to get all the parts

Hello, here Roel from the Netherlands. I am an older young man (year of build 1964). It is a modern lego escavator for me. I have bouhgt recently bits and pieces of this equipment. I "play" with the trains on blue tracks. Really really vintage like myself! I have made a MOC of a type of excacator on purpose for use on railroad tracks. I will find out if all parts of this original excavator are complete. Lego technics nowadays are very detailed, beautiful and rather expensive. You have to save a little bit of Euro's, Pounds, dollars etc. Nevertheless, lego is always a relaxing kind of hobby / activity. Kind regards, Roel, from the Netherlands

Hello there Roel. Thank you very much for watching! It’s always nice to hear about other people and their story with Lego. Your excavator sounds exciting! I also find Lego very relaxing and a good way to escape the real world. I hope you like my videos, I’m sure I have more you will enjoy. All the best, Bradley from the UK

I was taking to one seller near the main door, and asked him about his Bricklink store, and he actually said to me, that he can "always charge a bit more at shows", meaning that he up's his prices from his Bricklink store, when he does a show !!!!

@@DailyWeeklyBuilds Yes, I always have my phone to double check average prices before I get something at a show. I was pretty pleased with the prices of everything I got... Years ago I bought one straight of all 6 types, just so I had them all… blue powered, and unpowered, 1980’s grey powered and unpowered, metal 9v and then the new plastic track and made a video about them all. It’s so cool that they are all the same width so that trains from today can run on blue track from the 1960’s !
