Which makes better espresso? Picopresso or 9barista?

I just recieved my picopresso and have the 9bar for 3 months now I love the 9bar a lot its so cool and simple to use. Ive made my first shot with the pico today 18g same grind size as the 9bar 2:1. and it was a lot better than all my 9bar shots. so its cheaper and makes better coffee but the 9bar is just very beautiful and simple and easy to use

@@brownzys So, out of 18g ground coffee you get 36g liquid?

@@jimis3167 yeah thats what I was going for. It isnt as easy to controll with the 2 brewers since you just sometimes get a bit more or less with the 9b. And stopping at the right time with pico is something I have to practice. The brew I made on the pick today was a Brazil medium roast 18g to 37.5g with a bit of pre infusion and it was very delicious. My 1Zpresso j ultra for the pico is arriving tomorrow. I recon if you get the Picopresso and a Kingrinder K6 a cheap scale you could get a very good setup under 300€. Thats cheaper than the 9barista without a grinder.

@@brownzys Well, you can just put 36g of hot water in the pico and not worry about the right time to stop. You just drain all water into coffee.

@@brownzys My machine's basket takes 12g and I pull out 30 to 33g coffee, I guess that's like 1:2,5 ratio. I find the ideal balance with that ratio. I don't get specialty coffee beans since they're quite expensive. Commercials can be great too. I like Cafe Vergano and some of the Lavazza. Machine is Briel B14 with non-presdurized Delonghi basket and Shardor coffee grinder.

If you like espresso, 9Barista is recommended
