Cool tutorial! Just out of curiosity, why do you start the face with a green color?
@susanhansonart14 күн бұрын
I’m always trying new techniques green cancels red I saw another artist do it , she put a red brown over the green it was effective. Thanks for asking.

Its worse for me - I got a craft cabin built and stocked up ready to play with many crafting ideas and yet i cant get there yet due to all my responsibilities as a carer who is trying to reorganize a home after 9 years of unsupported and rather painful caring ......... doing what you are doing above as i type and watch - is a rather inspiring way to keep enjoying painting without pressure ..........

i have been painting the ceiling with a brush and wishing it was more and yet the movement and the act is also helping to reinforce any art is good art or that art, even blank art, is theraputic !

yes I get it , life for me gets overwhelming , just trying to think of art in my house with 2 dogs & 2 cats who start acting like 2 year olds when I take time for myself ... Take time even if its 15 mins a day ...its good for the soul...thanks for watching .

Hi Susan, my name is shannon. I was in your shop today and am visiting your channel for the first time. Glad you directed me here, thank you. I love Rinske Douna too. I’ve done some pour painting and watched her a lot while doing those. I’ll have to revisit her channel as well.

This is a beautiful necklace but I would have used wire guardians for such a heavy clasp.
@susanhansonart2 ай бұрын
Thankyou for sharing , I used heavey stainless wire , did not have guardians on hand . The wire broke at the pendant .

Susan the necklace is absolutely beautiful! I love larger, chunkier pieces bc they r more like artwork to me. Wearable art. The beads r absolutely scrumptious! I know u mentioned getting some of your beads at your state bead fair but I’d love to see the beads in your shoppe if they r for sale! The ones u made r lovely as well. Where could I get in touch with your shoppe?

I've used YES and also NORI pastes and there are other similar paper adhesives that are starch-based. They're excellent for all sorts of paper & book crafting!

Love your faces. They are all so pretty . The big eyed faces are actaully a painting style. I think there was a movie called Doll Eye's about the artist. Your faces would look really pretty in little oval shaped frames. I would like to try to do this style and I think they look best when done inaccurately to convey a interest and a strangeness ot them. The one girl with the bangs and bob haircut looks very 1930's and I like her very much. Where did you get the Gustav Klimt book? Could you leave a link in your description box for me. Thanks

thank you , I put the link in the description its a great book . I want to do a piece in his style ...I'd love to see what you are painting ....
