Dont know if you still monitor this video. However, my propane tank is leaking at the open/close valve when it freezes. Is there a way to bleed the propane tank of contents safely? The company I purchased the tank from will not allow an exchange until the tank is empty. I believe I can contact my local fire department, however I wanted to see if there were other avenues.

I know propane has water in it, a couple of my Older bottles seem to have less capacity even though empty is that because the volume of water builds up inside the propane bottle overtime so you have diminished capacity, thanks in advance for your reply

Thanks for taking the time to make the video. A thought you may want to try, instead of EMT, try rigid electrical conduit. It has a heavier wall thickness. Either way, I think trying to span 10’ you going to get deflection. I like your idea of deadman in the middle to take the load. Have a great day.
