Looking good, but I would turn the window around by the door to match the window on the side, also, I would install a large drip edge under the existing house siding about 8 inches past the width of the shed to prevent water and debris from getting between the back of the shed and the house siding to prevent rotting !!!

I like the build but did you think about the homeowners future issues when siding may need to be replaced? The siding looks like it’s in good condition but you never know what could happen

The shed could be moved away from the house if the siding needed to be repaired or replaced. We offer that service.

Are they going to have trouble delivering my 12x16 shed with their mule? I had a foundation installed and the front end is 6-10" higher than the outside of the wood frame. 6" beams frame the gravel pit. I have dirt in front of the shed that won't break loose, but has a little give to it. Should I get a few yard of fill dirt in front of the entrance side before delivery?

Is it one of our sheds? I don’t think it would be an issue but you might want to send in some photos of the delivery site just to confirm.

@@stormorsheds2970 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REPLY !!! And apologies. I'm in MD and due for delivery in 2-3 weeks from a great local Amish dealer. The beams are probably closer to the lower end of my numbers. I shot high to be safe. I was also able to get in touch with the dealer who said the same. Was the weekend between X-mas and NY's, so I asked a few sources. I still want the fill-dirt, but now I can relax and do the artistic install I had planned for irrigation. lol

I had a 12x20 shed that I turned into a cabin spent 6500 altogether and sold it for 12,000 and ended up buying an amish cabin that was 14x24 for 28,000 because 12x20 was just a bit too small for me.

Should've left an opening from the house to the shed. That way if/when you need to repaint or change out the siding on the house, you have room to work. Shed looks very nice though.

Nice shed. Great work with friends and family. Me amd my brother planning on next summer to build sheds to match our house with black trim, doors and add 3-4 windows across above the doors like a modern look. Can't wait. Keep up the hard work.

We’ve been building this design for 35 plus years. We haven’t had issues you’re referring to. We are also in Idaho which is a pretty dry state.

Too close to properly line to get a permit in most counties. Also most home associations would not approve it attached to house on side. Needed horizontal siding and same paint as house,regardless, all else nicely done 👍good build.😊
