Hi could a smallish camper van get to the carpark? And the national trust carpark I'm a bit confused is that not wasdale head carpark x
@exitthehouse2 ай бұрын
I can get my VW T6 Campervan over the bridge to the National Trust Wasdale Campsite and Car Park , Seascale, Cumbria, UK, CA20 1EX where I filmed this video from, it would depend on the width of your vehicle. If yours is to wide its only a mile further down the road to the Wasdale Head car park. What 3 words for the bridge is ///grudges.bossy.suiting

Very sound advice on start time up Ben Nevis. So many (and many other YT videos) get this wrong and end up on Scawfell in the dark , just pointless especially if weather less than perfect. This video suggests start up the Ben at 1700, For the mountain fit, experienced walker, you can start even later, at 1800hrs in high summer. The really fit can aim to be back at your vehicle from the Ben in under 3 hours, Scawfell should take about 2.5 hours, Snowdon about 2 hours. Traditionally (60 years ago) it was done sea level to sea level. Dont drive like a maniac, there is no need to for the reasonably fit. Its not about the drive, its about the physical challenge .

I've a front and rear cam. Also a separate battery pack. The wire from the battery pack has 2 x 20 amp fuses. I'm trying to figure out where to connect it to in the fuse box. Permanently live or when the ignition is switched on power travels to battery pack to keep it charged otherwise if permanent live it will drain the car battery. Would this be correct?
@exitthehouse7 ай бұрын
Yes I would have anything that would drain charge from the main battery on the ignition fuses which is the center row in the fuse box. If wired to a permanent live connection and you leave your van standing for any length of time you may find its drained the main battery to point your vehicle wont have the power needed to start the engine.
