digitalsaint2040 How can you justify posting something so inaccurate online when you could have quickly just googled the facts. The ralliart has the exact same internals as the evo x. Custom manifold to run an evo x turbo? Dipshit, its the same motor. Literally 150 bucks for a used manifold on ebay and 400 for a healthy turbo, and 100 bucks for a 3" downpipe. Literally no custom work at all. The engine is pushed stock? LMAO. Again, its an Evo X motor. Literally bone stock with a good custom tune the ralliart puts down more power than a stock Evo, with a TBE, EBC and tune the thing can make 300awhp Better results mod for mod on a wrx over evo motor? GTFO!

Arby Connor well there you go, I don't get my facts from google, but from the engine itself. ive pulled apart and built 4B11 blocks since 09, and 4G's afore that. its true they are both GEA built. just by looking at the piston heads, you can tell they are not the same. the rally art is a single scroll turbo, you need the custom mani, because of the powersteering line on the ralliairt will interfere with a twin scroll GSR mani. most of the problems incur from the engine bay and clearances. I get at least 5 guys a year at the shop asking to swap their ralliarts, thinking its the same thing. they are not: they have a smaller UICP and LICP, a plastic bypass valve and there is a reason why the ralliart is tuned to a 6500 RPM, and not 7000. jdm EVO x engine replacements are 1500 bucks more expensive then a ralliart's why would that be? I let your google that and find out...what you should do is get your head under a hood and stop thinking google makes you right.

Не совсем понятно почему в этот день прошли всего лишь до Алзамая (640 км)? Насколько я знаю народ за день доезжает до Черемхово (920 км), а некоторые и вовсе умудряются пройти за день все 1050 км до Иркутска. Мой вопрос прежде всего связан с предстоящей поездкой Иркутск - Питер, пытаюсь рассчитать примерный ежедневный километраж...

I now have a 2013 Ralliart touring, has every option you can get on the car (nav,back up cam, projectors,etc) I did look at the '13 WRX hatch as well before buying the ralliart. Just my opinion but if you do a lot of track days or autocross...the wrx is probably the better choice. I choose the Ralliart because I love the look and wanted a dual clutch transmission. I also feel the ralliart interior is a nicer place to be for day to day commuting.

The AWD system in the Ralliart is superior, but the WRX has better suspension, the engine in the RA, the 4b11T, is a lot better than the WRX's EJ motors of that generation, of course both have glass transmissions if not properly taken care of and modded correctly, but mod for mod, the RA comes out on top, with literally the same mods, and if both had proper tuning, the RA gets larger gains, and because of the SST, will outrun the WRX when at similar hp, but stock for stock, the WRX will literally wipe the floor with an RA, but the RA can be built into more power, more reliably, I just wish they would have taken the hint when Subaru beefed up the '08 WRX into the '13 style, the '08 to I think '10 model WRX's were skinny body, small turbo, just like the RA, and were pretty much equal for that time, but after Subaru made the WRX widebody, they gave it a bigger turbo and more hp, and Mitsu just didn't respond to it.

+YourGodStalin I have a 2013-14 wrx Sedan and have driven a few Ralliarrts. They are quick but nothing compared to the 2.5 with better suspension, brakes and tires that come with the Subie. Maybe if they spent $2500 for better suspension, some bolt ons and a nice tune, they could easily spank me because the the mitsu tranny is stronger and its engine isnt as sensitive to lots of power than subies are. but stock for stock the subie wins every time. I like the Ralliart but Mitsu didnt upgrade many things they should of from 08-2012 on the Ralliart which was a big mistake. If they did, Id be a customer and not in a WRX right now. Also the seats, and boxer rumble, and way better tires swayed me to go back to subie and sign the papers after test driving both.

My Ralliart is long gone now but when I had it, it was a lot of fun. With just a HKS panel filter, UICP, and AMS tune I beat up on a lot of cars (2012 wrx, clk55 amg, G37 s) Not really from the power but it takes off so hard and fires off those shifts so fast, very consistent. I was only at the track once with it and with no launch to speak off. it ran a 13.72 @ 99.8. Mine was the heaviest model (touring). If I were to do it over I would of got the WRX. Mitsubishi dealerships are a joke and the piss poor mileage just did me in. IF I was going to get 20 mpg highway and high maint costs, I'd get a V8 something or other. I will miss the 4 wheel power slides with traction off and sport mode. I traded my Ralliart a year ago for a 2015 GTI, suits my needs better at this time. Great points from both the above coments btw.
