Las plataformas musicales no suelen tener este tipo de bellísimas canciones del pasado, porque NO quieren que los jóvenes reconozcan que lo mejor de la música ya no tiene nada que ver en este apocalíptico presente, y un futuro que ya no existe.

I always remembered him sounding much better than this, but now? Karen Carpenter is by far the best. Her voice is always so crystal clear and sort of sultry which fits this song.

Is this the demo or the 1969 version? Davy Jones recorded the song on November 23rd 1966. Thanks

Come on you guys, can you remember and feel half of the fun and joy and total coolness, better known as groovy? Gee whiz, what a time, what great people I met, and how down it was to just be yourself!!!

This was the last song Sedaka composed together with Howard Greenfield as he (Sedaka) prepared to move to England. This was the ending of their partnership, and thus the title and subject.

Moving, moving down the line Comes a train of sorrow Crossing on your heart and mine Where it stops awhile You can buy your ticket now For a sad tomorrow It's a long way down the line 'Til you find your way Hold on and we can make it together Sunshine is gonna clear up the weather Better days are coming Better days are coming As we drift from day to day Someone's there to watch us You can ease your tired soul If you raise your head Riding over rocky ground Makes you kinda wonder If you're gonna make it last Through another day Hold on and we can make it together Sunshine is gonna clear up the weather Better days are coming Better days are coming Time for a celebration There'll be a new tomorrow Time for a jubilation Jump off the train of sorrow There'll be a brighter morning If you can tell this story Ride on the train of glory Not on the train of sorrow No, no, no, no….. Hold on and we can make it together Sunshine is gonna clear up the weather Better days are coming Better days are coming Time for a celebration There'll be a new tomorrow Time for a jubilation Jump off the train of sorrow There'll be a brighter morning If you can tell this story Ride on the train of glory Not on the train of sorrow No, no, no, no…..

Neil is so talented. Gene Pitney's version is flawless, but Neil has that Sedaka stamp of having written it & it's great IMO. Check out Neil's version of "Where the boys are". He wrote it and his version is a completely different arrangement that is done in a syncopated style that he did so well.

The opening piano solo sounds almost exactly like the opening of SIince I Met You Baby, by Ivory Joe Hunter
You cant exchange this song to the music today the songs of the 60s and 70s were no match of the music now artists were so great so good in making musics
