I never had braces as a teen (parents couldn't afford it). My teeth didn't look super crooked, but several dentists said my molars were showing premature wearing because of the angle they were at. Plus I had a bad overbite. It had 3 years in braces, I took a two year break in retainers. And now going back for another 5 months to finish things off.

My wife has overbite, the front 2 teeth have a gap in them also but she's convinced that it's an issue with her top jaw not her teeth. The front 2 especially stick out at an angle. No matter what I say she won't accept that invisilign is the answer. Any feed back appreciated..x

Jaw surgery should never be in the negative! There should never be set backs or tooth removal! These guys are looking to ruin smiles. They don't understand the connective tissue and the function of wisdom teeth. I would avoid at all cost!

There's also jaw surgery that I had to go through. It wasn't easy. If parents would take their kids to the orthodontist, there wouldn't be the need for this, as the orthodontist has growth to still deal with. Unfortunately, my parents didn't do a thing.
