I can COMPLETELY relate to you! I often do feel alone with having vision this bad, I have never known anyone else to have vision as poor as myself. Also, around four years ago, I had a hemmorage on my left eye retina ( which was my better eye). Now I can only "see" out of my peripherals from my left eye, and "see" with my contacts for both eyes, that I now practically live in. I know its bad to do, but its too hard to find my contacts now, or too hard to even put on makeup. Thank you for making this video, it definitely made me feel that I am not alone. I also can relate to having to hold your phone up close to your face to read it, I used to be able to close one eye and switch when the screen's light began to hurt my eyes because it was so close. Now, with only being able to see out of my r right eye which was my worse off eye for vision, it has become quite discouraging for what is to come for my vision in the future. I hope one day you will be able to wake up without having to search for your glasses!

As a somone who has been wearing the good old bug eye type of glasses since i was 4 i feel you ...jeez not only does it feel shity to not be able to see but also with bullying you can get from having those kind of glasses like getting put on this pedestal that you are ugly for it by kids is really not it and it has definitely effected me in great ways hell its still an insecurity that it got to a point were i dont feel confident without my glasses or with them like i have this facial recognition issue with myself

Thanks for sharing! Knowing that I'm not the only one who has these experiences makes me feel somewhat valid. I got my first eyeglasses when I was in 3rd grade (550 and 500 respectively). My eyes gradually worsened and now that I'm 21, my eyes' grades are around 1100 and 1000 (left and right). In the Philippines, I'm considered legally blind. It's just kind of a bummer that there is currently no treatment for my type of myopia which affects the thickness of my retina. My doctor advised to not get hit on head as there is a high-chance of retinal detachment.

My right eyesight is 500 and i can at least see a little clearer than my left eye which is 1000. No lie, i really want to get rid of my glasses and i'm trying this so hard for the sakes of lowering my grades

I have -10.25 both eyes... so I really know what you mean. Blur in the morning, after and while having a shower an everytime you don`t wear your glasses. Whats your prescription?

What are those measurements? We use + and - here. A -6 or +6 and more are considered high prescription.

I am 25 years old with an eye grade of 850 and 750. I work as a Graphic Artist, so I probably stare at the screen all day which makes me start to worry and consider shifting to a new career, because I'm really scared that my eyesight will get worse.

I have a bad eyesight too lol. I have 1k+ on both eyes when I hit 15, I freaked out when I found that out, because I have 500-700 eye grade before. Made me depressed for like months or a year. And I always think that I'll be blind sooner or later, kinda scares me tho. Good to know there's someone who have a same eye grade as me HAHAHAHA

you guys so lucky, only eyes have problem. while me i have rheaumatic heart disease year 2014 is the last maintenance, i have also hearing impaired i am using hearing aid for my left ear and my right ear ca't hear clearly at all, and also i have astigmatism 850 grades.. in short i am PERSON WITH DISABILITY. 31 years old. if i remove my hearing aid and eyeglass my world is like BLANK, completely blind. cannot hear and cannot see😔😔😔

Rika those glasses are not even that strong compared to some people. I have learned to live with my glasses, they are a part of me!

Practice Bates method, is really useful, but you will have results afeter some months and years. I have improved my vision. I have been practicing it around 2 years, my prescription was -600 and now I can see with glasses of -500 ^^ PD: Use glasses with -100 less than your prescription maybe not all the time at the beginning, but with the time you will see better with those glasses and you feel more rest.

I really feel you girl. I'm 20 and my eyesight are like 800/1100 Im so afraid because it's just not normal for me. I keep thinking about what if I became blind? I'm so stressed and I also keep seeking alternatives cause my glasses are to heavy like it's so much hassle. People with good eyesight are so lucky cause they don't have to wear thick glasses and bare with headaches everytime. I hope I'm one of those people. Sadly I'm not but thanks to this video. I know that I'm not alone and their are many people like me. I wish to have clear vision huhuhu
