Wow.... riding in the far left of the lane. Those people can't see you. The motor officer classes I've taken have stressed the importance of being seen. However, I am glad the lady that almost hit you got the ticket even though you had some slight responsibility in it.

I usually rev my engine if the car behind me does not slow down, I also press n release the brake so my brake light flickers so in most cases I have the attention of the car driver approaching me from behind

Whew - that was a scary close call with the truck and then the car. Also, thanks for enforcing the texting while driving law. I wish that texting while driving was legally treated as serious as a DUI. That's what it will take to stop the madness. Here in VA when I ride my motor it seems like every other car has a driver, with their head down in their phone. Thanks for what you do and God bless you.
