I wished you gave a more detailed example using some numbers, and went ahead to calculate the goodwill and NCI for SS to help me understand better; at the end of the video, I'm still confused of how to work those two out

I think when we did a previous question , we did consider the CLT which was beyond the 7 years limit as well . But herein MCQ3 we haven't considered the 2016 one for calculation of Nil Rate band?

Thank you, sir, for all the good work. In this video, you mentioned that you have no idea about CR and DR. From my understanding, CR records credit transactions, and DR records debit transactions.
@opentuitionКүн бұрын
You misunderstood me. All I said was that although I see why CR stands for credit and I didn't know why DR stands for debit. I was joking (it is because they come from the Latin), Obviously CR is for credit entries and Dr is for debit entries 🙂

How do you account for the 20k you make from the discount? If you paid 980.000 for a 1.000.000 asset, then the 20k has to go somewhere...

Please can you explain why the rent received is calculated as 11/12*9600? June 2023 was unpaid. When did the rent start please?
@shreaq533518 күн бұрын
From my understanding the tax year is from 6th April 2023 to 5th April 2024 which is 12 months and the annual (12 months) rent is 9600 out of which in the month of June 23 (in the tax year) was unpaid which means only 11 months were paid for the tax year hence 9600*11/12 to calculate the rent received.
