Hello Peter, can you tell me where this film clip comes from? The only ODJB film I was aware of is from the 1937 'March of Time' newsreel. Whatever the source of this clip, it may contain more film of the ODJB. Best regards, Tim.

Andy Woon was in the Royal Artillery band when I was only for a short time though he escaped. If anyone is in touch with him I wonder if he knew Peter Wilson a wonderful piano player. And Daryl Williams a trombone and lead guitarist. The last time I have heard of Daryl he was playing in a big band in Hong Kong. I am very ill cancer stage 4 and would just like to know what happened to them. My name is Max Wickens and I used to play bass guitar in the same band as them. I am afraid they had a far superior technique to me as I had only been playing the bass for a couple of years at the time. I simply would like to know what they ended up doing.

I didn't even know hedge laying was a thing. It's so cool! Now I want to grow one. It would be completely impractical where I live, but I don't care. 😆 They really are ingenious. All these old skills and crafts are so fascinating.
