I still do sit down to watch 30-60min vlogs on KZbin. I really wish I could disable shorts on KZbin and reels on Instagram. I had a conversation about this recently with a friend in terms of KZbin and even going back further to Blogs. It feels like more effort was put in for the sheer enjoyment of making content and it was a lot more skill and work required in my opinion. It feels like content these days is a short reel or tiktok filmed on your phone and can be half assed and still do well. Im not sure all of todays influencers could be bothered to perfect photography, write engaging copy in longer form, or create and edit hours and hours worth of footage. Very interesting topic, great episode.

you're such a fkn comfort girl. I love your vlogs and the poddy, I love your energy and feel like you've got such a good head on your shoulders. That sounds kinda patronising but you actually give level-headed, sound advice and I get the feeling that you really know yourself which is really cool to engage with. If you ever come back to eastern subs syd, do a book club meetup or something because I feel like the community here would be such a chill group of girlies.

yes I edit on iMovie!! It's a bit glitchy but it works for me loll and music wise I always just get them from the copyright free audio library in youtube creator studio, I just spend a wee while going through them listening to them and favouriting ones I like :)
