RIP to Larry Collins 😢 he should have been as well known as Chuck Berry or Eddie Cochran but for some reason he wasnt taken seriously because he was a kid at that time 😢

This guy is a guitar and rock and roll legend, absolutely incredible and I just randomly recently found out about these siblings. It's crazy he was among the first rock and roll guitarists just as a child.

🎉I had the HONOR at Viva Las Vegas in the mid 2000's to see them. After the show, I stood in a relatively small line to say hello to them. Lorrie said, "I saw you down below watching me sing that song so intently." To my surprise she hugged me and kissed my right cheek! My then girlfriend hit the roof of jealously! Then I went to talk to Larry. He was so impressed how I remembered him and his show, "Town Hall Party" and how he jumped all around while he played. Larry and I ended up talking guitars, and music while smoking cigarrettes together for at least 20 minutes. Very memorable! God bless them. RIP Lorrie...thank you for the music and that kiss.❤

What so special about this? He rumbles easy chords and licks. A gipsy has real playing skills and jazzy chords!

If only The Collins Kids had better management and better promotion they might have become one of the biggest rockabilly / rock and roll acts during the 1950s...Larry and Lorie Collins were performing on television long before Elvis and Carl Perkins ever did and Chuck Berry got his idea for the duck from watching Larry Collins on stage.......

Yes, they are very talented. But their idle is set just a bit too high for most people. If they had taken it down a notch or two and not been so hyper, they would have been world famous.

It is sickening to know that Taylor Swift is a billionaire because so many sheep follow her smoke and mirrors straight to Beelzebub, and this guy, and his sister Lorrie (God rest her) have actual talent to play music, and are barely known by comparison.

He was more famous for his dancing while playing guitar with his sister. Wholesome USA TV basically used them as a novelty act. He was a good guitarist badly advised.

Does anybody have any idea why he has a two neck guitar but only uses the longer neck? - I've never seen him use the smaller neck on any of the videos I have watched of him.

He plays the upper octave neck, but not as often. Coincidentally not in the clips.

The Collins Kids are beyond phenomenal, they are also, in my opinion, proof of the "Mandela Effect." I was born in 1953, I am part of the RnB, Rock n Roll, Woodstock gen, and I never heard of the Collins Kids until 2022, (WTF?). AND I am not the only OG that has just discovered that Larry was playing Johnny be Good at least 2 years before Chuck Berry,l. RIP Kids.
