The story was one of the best on this ride which made it iconic with the story and since they replaced it, the ride got worse without the story due to being “too scary” for kids, still miss the story to this day but atleast the outdoor music is so badass to listen, that being said thx for making this video.

I was jamming to this song while I was on Journey to Atlantis...lol The person in front of me was like what the heck is she doing?! She needs to be holding on tight during the drop instead of jamming. The thing is after riding Ice Breaker, Kraken and Mako plus 46 other roller coasters with more intensity that jamming to music while dropping 60ft is a piece of cake. I held on right in time for SPLASH which on flumes can be a bit jerky.

It would be great to see the ride fully restored with both the story and this soundtrack playing! I believe the old track was ripped from Beetlejuice!

Journey to Atlantis has become a very disappointing ride. Not to say that it’s bad, it just has so much potential and ultimately falls a little flat. If Sea World invested time and money into this ride, it could become one of the single greatest log flumes in the country.

I agree with you! Also for the sake of coaster enthusiasts, don’t call it a log flume. It’s a water coaster, some people get really worked up over that!

Yes, because they removed the story inside the ride and the special effects Cause it was all “too scary” because some Karen’s had to ruin the fun with turning it into a stupid boring tour ride, so that’s why it’s bad.
