Hello there, I am a researcher working in the area of protein aggregation and thus SASA calculations are pretty important for me. I did the same but through the right panel, and not through the command line. I think that doesn't make a difference. Moreover, I want to know do these result files always get generated after every such run? Actually, they didn't in my case. Could you please share the link for the surface racer and how to install it, as the one I tried, gives a command line terminal right as click the .exe file. Please help. Thanks

that was great and i found something new to learn. thanks but how we can define orf in eukaryotes where sone non coding part is spliced off?
@BioPandit
@BioPandit 4 жыл бұрын
Glad that you have learnt something... In case of eukaryotes I suggest to refrain yourselves from using these tools (either web-based or standalones). You can write your code manually to extract the relevant sections of the sequences and then translate. And also you need to have a prior knowledge of the exon-intron boundaries which is available is the databases. You will get exon-intron boundary information from both ncbi or ensemble. On the other hand, there are coding cds available in these databases also. So, until and unless, its a completely new genome sequences which has not been well annotated, you can work with the coding cds. Plz let us know if you have any problems in doing so.

In my personal view you got WAY too fancy with all the fonts, backgrounds, transitions and effects. You should keep it more clean and simple and focus on the content rather than the presentation. Just my two cents.
