What is your interpretation of the wording of some of the cards saying ‘randomly choose’ a card or the order? For our group of players ‘random’ suggests without seeing it but then the ‘choose’ part suggests you can choose how this is done. We found this confusing, how did you manage this? Thanks. 🙏

It’s educational in that you learn about how different factors can make and change planet formation. I don’t know how accurate any of it is

Thanks guys, great review. Not a party gamer type myself, but the color aspect is profound. Color blindness usually occurs in complimentary colors (broadly speaking). Yellow-purple, blue-orange, and red green. Sometime people just seen in grays (like our distant ancestors). Weird right? The other aspect is hyper color sensitivity where people see more colors than most. A lot of these folks become interior decorators or designers or visual artists. Some even see infra-red, but the governments snatch them up. Smile with teeth. Shlubs like me just try to keep up. Nice point on the educational aspect. With all due respect to the gaming authorities out there, ignore the jaded gamers. Color games are fundamental to thinking. One more thing to support this game idea. There is an undercurrent of persons who search for colors unknown to most. This is to say why should we believe what THEY tell us primary, secondary, tertiary, add infinitum colors really are? I think your review lends itself to the aspect that color can lead people to think for themselves. Sorry for being long winded. I dig colors.

Good video. I am thinking about buying this game. Do some noble cards have “actions” written on them? I saw a gameplay video where the noble card instructed the player to place it at the back of the line.
@AnnexedDinnerTable3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Some of them do have special actions. They can range from moving the card to the back to giving more points if you have another type of noble
@CanadianBeachcomber3 жыл бұрын
@@AnnexedDinnerTable - if I pick up a noble card that instructs to place it at the end of the line, does that mean I don’t collect a noble’s head for that turn? This might be a difficult question to understand.
@AnnexedDinnerTable3 жыл бұрын
There are ways you can not collect a noble but they mostly come from the action deck.

Thanks for the video. So, I don't know too much about board game videos, so maybe what I'm saying is totally wrong, but anyway: - I like that you alternate between shots from above and from the side. - I also like that you show there the peoples scores and the names. - The shot where you see the table from above could have zoomed in a little bit more, so that the board fills as much of the video as possible. You don't get here too much from what is around the board, so better zoom in on what is really important. - The effect on the side with the planet is cool, but I'd have probably reserved that for the intro and outro. It takes up a huge chunk of the image. - I'd have probably shown the top view more often, so that it's easier to follow what's going on with the board. And if you showed there the board as big as possible, you could have also saved the work of the score tags (and the names by just using them often enough during the game). - One great thing about planetarium are the cards, with the artwork and the interesting text. It would have been cool if you'd have a camera somewhere pointing closely at the table, and when people play a card they put it there under the camera for a close up shot, and you show that shot when people play the card. That way the viewer could see the artwork and could pause the video to read the text and see in detail what the card does. That's of course more work, but would have added a lot. Then again, I might be wrong with everything I say, it's just my subjective opinion. In all cases thanks for the video. :)

I agree. We also normally play base. It is good enough without the expansions and easier to set up. The only time I really play with the expansion is if I’m going solo.
