Hi Bev, gentle magic products have been so helpful to my skin, especially themask and serum you can try it out and see if it can help you, it has been amazing on my skin when it comes to clear spots, am not a dermatologist though am just sharing my experience with the products.

Yes it's an exfoliant and kind of a cheap skin peel to help remove old sunburnt layer
