Thank you for this video. I thought I was right when I thought there was a mistake on my EKG study materials for my hospital. They had a sample for a junctional rhythm and it has 8 QRS complexes. On the next page they have an example of the accelerated one and it has 8 as well. 🤔😂

Fantastic presentation. Rivaling JJ Medicine, in my opinion. Though I wish you would have gone into a bit more detail on some points here and there for the average listener. I know this was posted 4 yrs ago, but subbed and looking forward to learning more!

Your videos are super good. This one slightly disappointed me though. At 19 min, Calling 2° AVB 3:1 high-grade a "type ll" with no proof of type ll. Both type l and type ll can do a 2:1, 3:1 and so on. You need 2 consecutively conducted QRSs in a row to determine the type. I understand, 90% of textbooks teach that it is type ll. If it was a type l, after the drop, the PRI constantly resets to the smallest value, and it is 2:1, so you have no proof. If that helps anyone reading this.

At 5:44 on the ventricular pacing there is no P wave. Does this mean that the heart is not generating an atrial depolarization on its own either? It seems that there should be a P wave without a pacer spiker immediately preceding it in ventricular pacing.

Hmmmm... wondering if i should continue.... since you are calling Willem Einthoven a German and talk about Deutsch spelling 😢.... first of all Einthoven was a Dutch physician, born in Indonesia having the Dutch nationality. And since the is no such thing as Dutchland, he comes from the Netherlands... furthermore there's no such thing as a Deutsch spelling... There is a German spelling, but since Einthoven was a Dutchman, we should acknowledge the K was used in the Dutch spelling. Nowadays we use the C as well since it is far more logical... so.... what to do.... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, since other comments are quite okay

Bro, it’s a free detailed multi-hour ECG tutorial not a history lesson, focus on the important stuff, your mind is wandering. Man this is one of the worst comments I have ever read, he owes you nothing, he can’t do a nice thing without people like you trying to flex on him on the fine details of a point that has no relevance to ECG interpretation anyway. Sit down, learn and be humble for once in your life, you are not perfect.

*Fact check: An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple, non-invasive test that records the electrical activity of the heart. An ECG can help diagnose certain heart conditions, including abnormal heart rhythms and coronary heart disease (heart attack and angina).🎉🎉🎉
