I feel like the baseline that you made is good one but sounds nothing like the reference. The reference to me, sounds like there's a second oscillator at a higher octave running as well.
@AbstraktMusicLab17 күн бұрын
I wouldn't say an octave higher, but maybe more mids and less bass I'd agree with... it's hard to FULLY recreate, so we try our best, right? Don't forget to join our Discord Channel abstraktmusiclab.com/discord

If I'm able to write chords by looking at image (outside or internal) I'd consider myself a decent producer; but how to know chords and their progressions?

Tech Music sounds more "serious" in minor. Ben is breaking the law. He introduces Major as serious as well. Thats a big act.

You actually don’t know what you’re talking about 😂😂😂 I know exactly how they made it. I know exactly who signed them and who manages them. Stop lying to people. Jesus Christ There are many producers who have this same style but never seen the kind of success they seen. Because the industry is rigged like that. How do you think they were able to get into the interscope records and get camila on the record ? Same as black coffee. They sold out. Sold their souls.

Im using AI to teach me how to make music and concepts that a video on yt or a book just cant get to me to grasp. its also teaching me via demonstration how to arrange the various elements and progression. I think its a great tool, but more importantly inspiring and encourages me to get back to the mpc and keep trying. keep creating.

@@brintewilan9599 i'd say they are supposed to be used with other bass layers.. which could make it compatible. Second, drone basses are also not 100% mono compatible, but widely used, right?

Hey man, really useful video I like your chanel ! But if I prefer my clap more subtle or my lowmids more stronger than my reference track, can I keep it the way I like if its sounds right to me or am I obligated to follow my refenrence track ?
@AbstraktMusicLab3 ай бұрын
Great question... you can do whatever you want. A reference is just a guide, and you can do a detour. But i'm sure there are other references that such qualities Personally, i would only not go far away from the reference.
