can a person use a 30amp generator in a 50amp service inlet box for a home? Do they sell an adapter if thats is possible. I do know you cant go from 30 amp to 50amp but was wonder if stepping down from a 30amp generator to a 50 amp inlet is possible.

Although you're using 30amp adapters you're using a 50amp service, you won't have 30amp protection. (Food for thought)

Hi! Have you found a new tent you like? We have the Gazelle G6 and we also travel with my 2 yr old cat. G6 offers a separate floor and we want one that’s sewn in like a tent. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
@drbrendau15 күн бұрын
@@homeswithjona I still use Clam. I haven’t found a screened shelter with floor sewn in. That would be ideal.

Can you share your process once you are on a starter place. How long does it take to move to another permanent place? Is there a list for that? Is there additional cost for your 2nd move?.
@drbrendau17 күн бұрын
@@t.q.6639 I was on my starter site for 4 months. People move around a lot. It depends on who you know, what you are looking for with new site, and then luck. There’s an administrative fee of $100 to move to new site. Then there’s negotiations between members. The site I moved to has a nice wooden gazebo and pavers - I paid $3k for site improvements.
@t.q.663917 күн бұрын
@@drbrendau Thank you for your reply. How do find out about available lots? By “depends on who you know”, means you must know individuals that are leaving? Please elaborate if you can.

I noticed that you did not have it anchored down properly, the anchor ropes were still hanging on it. Each of the centers of the Pop-out panels also have a place for anchor ropes. The ground looked like you could not drive in stakes where you had it. The other reviews of the Clam & the Gazelle say they are not good in the wind. They recommend taking it down before high winds. My wife and I camp about 8 times a year using a 21 foot camping trailer. We have a 4 post awning with removable sides, much longer to set up, so I don't add the sides much. If you look at the latest beach shades, you will see they have pockets for a bunch of sand.
@drbrendauАй бұрын
@@Patrick_Gray very true about Clams not doing well in high winds; I collapse it in high winds. If I can drive in stakes, I do. I use sand bags and bricks, but that’s still insufficient. The biggest benefit of Clam is that it comes with a floor, which I need to keep the cats from escaping.

Just my 2 cents, we're planning to stay at this campground and were in town so we drove through it to check it out and see what campsite we prefer. The comments about it not looking like a resort put me off - as a county park with campground, I see it as well maintained and left in as natural a state as possible while allowing folks to enjoy being outdoors. But then, as a former backpacker I don't consider paving (my driveway isn't) and even gravel a necessity to enjoy parking my RV. (We're even fans of boon docking at many places with grass to park on...) We use a rug at the foot of our steps to limit the debris our two very fluffy Great Pyrenees bring in. The staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions - we're looking forward to spending some time at this campground.

Is there a dog bone that can convert 30 A to 50 A ,,,,, I bought a Solar generator to power on my custom camper van the AC unit requires 50 A. The generator only puts out 30 A. What can I do to raise the amperage on the solar generator? I know it’s a crazy question but I’m putting it out there. Thanks. wondering if there’s some type of converter box that would raise the amps …

This has a floor that attaches with Velcro. Only 1 of the cats tries to create a gap - and has occasionally escaped. What has worked, at least temporarily, is to use a spray bottle with water to squirt at Coco when she begins her attempt.
