Hello. I am a Korean man who loves camping in Korea. I bought a Buddy Flex Cooker product this time, and I want to connect it to propane gas or isogas only and use it. I was wondering if you have a connectable intermediate connector. I look forward to hearing from you. Please also give me a link or image of the connector product. Thank you.

I'm going to add my vote for a Micro Buddy that produces between 1000-2000 BTU on low, doesn't need a pilot light once fully heated for safety reasons, and still can take 20 lb cylinders through a proper filter. Even with the tip sensor, I don't feel confident leaving this near my animals. The heat is also excessive for my needs so if I want to use it, I have to cycle on and off instead of letting it run continuously on low output. Surely you could get a lower thermal rating by halving the catalyst surface area.

I have an issue with my portable buddy not staying lit. I cleaned it with the alcohol like the video suggests but still after about 5-10 minutes of it running it goes out. This is a huge problem for my family and I because we live in a camper with our 2 cats and a dog and in New Jersey its in the 20's overnight. I dont know what to do or how to fix it and we're really really feeezing. This little heater was SO AMAZING when it worked properly, and even for the 5-10 minutes it runs it helps but I need to fix this desperately. What should i do? I dont have the money right now for another unit. Thank you!

Except when they don't, which is often. I use their special hose, that's not supposed to need a filter, with a filter on the 20lb tank. The heater is constantly getting clogged with oil anyway. I have 2 of these, and neither one is working right now. They drive me nuts. They are great when they work.

SO HELPFUL! I literally REPLACED a heater because I couldn't keep it lit. Then my NEW one (which I keep stored packed up in the box just like it came) quit, too! I was so frustrated, but did a little research and got the fuel filter, then found THIS video for cleaning out my Buddy Heater. So much better than a 20 minute video debating the problem and such that I've seen from others. My heater is working again! Thanks for this video!

This whole set up could be avoided if you just removed the regulator from the heater and sold a branded regulator adapter for larger propane tanks.

Hello! When the thermocouple is properly heated it sends a signal to the gas valve that enables it to stay open which keeps the heater lit and producing heat. Have a great day!

Love the product. However the Mr Heater company is very disorganized. They make a gazillion fittings hoses and accessories most of witch are useless. The application of these parts are not categorized for the actual heater they make, instead come with various part numbers representing redundant parts. For example I found 3 ten foot rubber hoses that were exactly the same in every way but, all had different part numbers. Can anyone tell the difference between a f273702 or a f273704? They look exactly the same. To me it all looks like a racket, these two hoses are probably the exact same hose! Lol
@MrHeaterTV10 ай бұрын
Hello! The F273702 is a 12 ft hose for the Buddy heaters and the F273704 is a 10 ft hose for the Buddy heaters. The most notable difference is that the F273704 hose is made from a different kind of material that removes the need for a fuel filter, while most other hoses will need one. If you have any more questions, please give us a call at 1-855-663-0660. Have a great day!

So why does Mrheater sell a hose that they know will destroy the heater without including the filter? It’s either dereliction or done on purpose just so they can sell more heaters to people who break them. What is this magic material that looks smells and is in every way else is the same as all the other hoses that they claim the 704 is made of? Lol
@MrHeaterTV10 ай бұрын
Hello! The material that the F273702 and the majority of our other hoses are made of is industry standard, and is what almost all other hoses are made out of. We developed the different kind of rubber used in the F273704 to be as similar to the standard kind as possible, which is why you aren't noticing a difference in appearance.

We need this in Germany! I bought the Mr.Heater together with the Mr.Heater hose. I used the heater 3 times, then it bubbled out of the nozzle and the heater stopped working. I unscrewed the hose and a lot of oil dripped out. I have seen that there is a filter for this, unfortunately not in Germany🙁

I just bought a buddy heater for ice fishing but user manual says Provide minimum fresh air opening of 9 square inches (15.24 square centimeters) (example 3" (7.62 cm) x 3" (7.62 cm) opening). My fishing tent is much smaller

Hello! we recommend ventilation so that the Buddy Heater will run uninterrupted during use. The Buddy Heater will turn itself off if proper ventilation is not supported, so ventilation is not required, but it is recommended.

Why is it so difficult to find a video or instructions on how to hook it up to the gas. The end connection on my heater for the gas connection looks different than I’ve seen before. Do I need an adapter? Also not sure if I’m supposed to use gas rated pipe tape for the threaded connection at the unit because there is no gasket. It seems like this company has spent more time in making videos, then actually making sure people can use it properly. When it comes to gas, all instructions need to be clear. This will be the second Mr. heater I take back. I purchased a different type of Mr. heater prior to this one but the igniter wouldn’t ignite the gas. So I took it back and got this one. This one has a different connection on it. It doesn’t make sense to me. Why there is no demonstration videos.

Hello! The tank connection on this heater is a POL fitting, which will connect directly to any standard propane tank. The fitting goes inside the fitting on the tank and screws in counter-clockwise, lefty-tighty. Have a great day!
