She went to IIT. What are the odds of someone who went to Muniamma Engineering college under Anna University ending up as the associate dean of engineering at MIT?

@@NitinJain-yh1lk i am not criticizing her. I said someone who went to IIT has a better chance of rising to the level of becoming a dean at a world class engineering school like MIT. That is simply because kids who get into IIT are far intelligent than the ones who attend Anna university. Moreover, the standard of education at IIT is far superior to Anna university. Because she went to IIT and had a good education, she could get into Stanford and She did very well there. You have a comprehension problem. Learn English first.

How does he get away with trafficking illegal immigrants from India to work at all of his businesses and he pays them many dollars per hour below state minimum wage? He brakes ever labor law in the state yet the state looks the other way. Which state politicians are taking illegal bribes from this guy, I want to know!!!!!!! Also have a feeling that shady Robert Kraft has a hand in this, Kraft is a really shaddy businessman, people need to realize this!

Thank you, @kapow4! You make an excellent point, appreciate the input! This is precisely why I mentioned that T2DM is a “function of both insulin resistance (IR) as well as insulins secretory defect”. Those who have a progressive loss of insulin, which includes certain ethnic groups (South Asians in particular) and especially those with long duration diabetes, the beta cells in the pancreas that churn out insulin get worn out over time*. Hence, these individuals become more “carb-sensitive” so it is imperative that they keep total carbs (glycemic load) relatively low compared to the general population or even those with prediabetes. (The whole grain English muffin available here that I was referring to, has only 26 grams of carbs with 8 grams of fiber reducing net carbs. and a small fruit has 15 grams of carbs with 3-4 grams of carbs so for those who are “carb sensitive” your total glycemic load is reduced significantly). Be sure to pair with protein and a healthy fat to additionally mitigate glucose spikes and check the 2 hr post meal glucose levels to monitor your response. As mentioned in the video, if you are carb sensitive from a combination of both IR and progressive insulin secretory defect, I strongly recommend working with a Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator who can customize the meal for you using EVIDENCE based gudielines, to reach your target blood sugars as well as target lipids and other biomarkers. The beauty of a healthy, well-balanced diet is that you see an improvement in several, if not many key biomarkers such as blood pressure, lipids, etc because at the end of the day it reduces “inflammation” the basis of all chronic disease. I will reiterate as I did in the video that this is not a once size fits all approach. For folks with full blown diabetes, through a combination of “carb counting”, high fiber, nutrient dense, carb-controlled meal plan and use of tools ( if needed) such as a CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) device, or a blood glucose meter, you can achieve target BG and other biomarkers. In addition, a nutrient and antioxidant rich, high fiber meal plan favorably impacts your gut microbiome or beneficial bacteria in your gut which are dictating inflammatory processes in the body Although BG levels may be the primary target, we want to make sure we are treating the “whole” individual, to promote a sense of well being, not just BG levels and the whole foods meal plan can achieve that when tailored to an individual’s unique needs, I hope this, and the resources below help. Thank you. *(Stritctly as an analogy, you can think of the beta cells in the pancreas as workers in a factory that were put on a double shift for a week without notice, get exhausted and are ready to strike out). Thank you but I am quite happy following Dr. Bernstein's diet (in conjunction with using a CGM) who not only walks the walk but at 90 years old he also attributes his own diet for being alive today as he himself is diabetic. A low carb high protein diet keeps diabetics healthy in the long term so why complicate things unnecessarily.
@kapow4

Just follow Dr Bernsteins diet, taking peanuts as this nutritionist recommends is not good for diabetics.If you don't believe me eat an english muffin for breakfast which this person recommends and also use a CGM and you will see your blood sugar go above the normal range which is 7.8 which should never happen as that is when damage occurs to your body. Plus her fake accent. is annoying. I don't know why these indians when they go to the US.they put on an accent like as though they are insecure of their own accents.

Do not do 3 meals and 3 snacks. Eat 3 meals and rest stomach from diner to breakfast, no snacks .Do not drink ANY juice it is sugar! Use full fat milk NEVER skim. Eat nuts and seeds get rid of all refined starch get rid of all sugar. Cut starch in half and if not hungry do not eat. If glucose drops reduce your meds. Look up Dr Fung, Dr Jamnadas Dr Unwin Dr Lustig Dr Pal, Dr Arunkumar all clinicians and their patients are reversing diabetes and you CAN ! You do not need starch it is not essential . Boil and eat real grain. Look up Dr Fuhrman he is plant based diabetic specialist

Elizabeth Warren entered Harvard on a lie that she was a "Native American." And years later she LOST the Senate Race to Dr. Shiva, but because of the PROVEN cheating machine of the Mass. political establishment, Elizabeth Warren was falsely declared the winner of the Senate Race proving that the election system in the US is a total sham and that the established power is tyrannical. Conclusion is that the nation is no longer a Republic!

A very well presented video which showcases the journey of Vision Aid through these twenty years , creating awareness, and acknowledging gratefully the contribution of so many like minded and generous people who are indeed the wind beneath the wings of Vision Aid. As Revathy's parents,we recollect the day ,twenty years ago ,in Vizag where we too were part of the inaugural function, , under the enthusiastic guidance and patronage of Ram's father,Sri.M.R Raju and family. It is so heartening to see that it has grown into a service oriented organisation of such a magnitude to help and guide the visually impaired to lead meaningful lives with dignity and self confidence. May God bless all their endeavours. Vaidehi Hariharan and V. Hariharan

Upendra of India New England News has done a fantastic job of covering the essence of how Vision-Aid has been helping the visually impaired in India for the past 20 years through enabling them with assistive tools such as AI Smart Vision Glasses that help the blind read in over 17 languages, empowering them with marketable skills and computer education to avail of the opportunities and much more. The speakers in this video have provided views of what resonated with them that led them to support Vision-Aid. It is worth watching and listening to these respected members of the community who are passionate about changing the lives of the underprivileged visually impaired. Thanks to all the speakers who took time from their busy schedules to be part of this video !
