CBS or DBS on Honda VFR800 is complicated and bleeding process is complicated as well. There are 7 bleeding nipples and 2 primary brake actuators with 1 secondary master actuator that need to be addressed properly. Usually, Secondary master actuator needs to be cleaned to properly operate braking rear wheel when using front brake. Just changing fluid is not enough. It takes form 5 hours to 3-4 days to remove, overhaul and clean whole brake system with CBS on VFR800 6 gen.

Lowering a bike destroys the handling. Man up, and ride it stock height. I’m 5’5”, and daily a liter bike without any issues.

Thanks for your candid reply. This was a $600 project bike with the aspiration to become a drag bike. Soooooo…. Again thanks for the comment
@thagingerninjer53916 күн бұрын
@ lowering the rear makes it a worse feat bike, more prone to front wheel lift, though. Lowering the front would make it less likely to lift the front, but lowering the rear is pointless for any kind of racing, unless you’re lowering the front more. My comments are more for everyone saying they street ride only, and are wanting to lower theirs. Nobody needs to flat foot a motorcycle to ride it. I ride a friend’s super duke r all the time, and I can’t even touch both feet to the ground at the same time, much less flat foot it.
@ToModorNottoMod4 күн бұрын
Makes sense. I hear you. After owning 65 bikes I have been guilty to lower a few for various reasons. If you watch my videos you will always see that I lower them in a way that stays close to the original geometry as possible, but of course understanding that it will never behave the same way as OEM. I hear you and thanks for taking the time to reply again! Believe me i am 5’6” and 90% of my bikes have always stayed stock height and I have just dealt with it. It’s hard being short haha Have a good day brother!!

@ToModorNottoModАй бұрын
True I could have. Think about this. Thanks for sharing the feedback without animosity 🙏🏻 I wanted to ensure I had all the necessary parts to install them. If I had painted them before the wheels, I’d run the risk of getting them all scratched which is why I decided to be happy with the install first and, now I can paint them. Also, I have to remove the tires because they old(which I mentioned on the video), what would be the point to paint them to do all that with fresh paint? Thanks for the comment brother!

Hey man, there was a significant change in sound with the chamber deleted. In my opinion for good, it is not obnoxious. It could be louder honestly. It runs great, I have no piggy back on it yet but I wasn’t expecting issues since you are retaining the catalytics. I think you will be happy with it.

Clutch plates moving back and forth in the same area will cause that. Normally you will see it on high mileage bikes. Some say improper clutch use, such as applying pressure in the lever constantly.

This is correct. I bought a ZX12R A1 and thought my transmission was broken till I got the motor running with the bike on a axle stand. It shifted through all gears like silk.
@nationalfluidpowercentrelt4523Ай бұрын
you cant put a Kawasaki into second gear stood still. take all the plugs out, put it in first gear and try to turn the rear wheel. Or connect a separate cable to the starter motor and find a good earth and touch a battery bypassing the relay etc......could be sprag clutch on starter.....but its hard to break a ZX14 engine unless you really abuse it or run it short of oil.....
@ToModorNottoModАй бұрын
Thanks so much for this. After I took the engine out I read in the book that the transmission needed some RPM to go through shifts. Thanks and that makes sense. I did that, I took the plugs out, put it in first but the engine seemed to be seized and did not want to move, or maybe I was not strong enough. I know it was going to be hard but it did not budge, hence why I opened it up. I am in the process of putting the engine back together I will take your recommendations and try that once I hopefully close the engine today.
@asfia82Ай бұрын
relay starter?
@ToModorNottoModАй бұрын
I will take all the help I can get. Thanks for offering. Honest question, why the relay starter? The relay seems to be responding to the starter button but I did not looked into a lot because it was clicking but more than that I decided to remove the engine because even after removing the spark plugs I was not able to rotate the engine while in gear. This made me think that there was something more than just a bad relay. In my opinion there was something mechanical preventing the engine to move. I am putting the engine back together now. I will check the starter relay and starter before I put the engine back. Thanks so much for throwing ideas. I need help 🥴
