Having worked at the Van Nuys C-P-C plant. 86-90 the folks that came from the Norwood plant after the closing, were good hard-working folks. What's sad is that that location was closed in 92. Many had to relocate or find work locally due to lack of location seniority, not Corp seniority. Being a short timer at that location like them. Having never work on an assembly line, but 17 years in anther GM location. The Norwood folks were always helpful and easy to work with. I hope that those out there to whom I worked with see this THANKS. When layoffs happen, you don't always get the chance!

My favorite car of all time cobalt blue IROC (MUST BE THAT BLUE!). Not because its the best , or greatest..That was my 17yr old me's dream car. and to this day, my wife groans as we pass a used one by for sale and i stop and look. P.S I drove my street built Camaro into the ground, till body rotted away and had holes in floor lol. I then pulled the 700r4 corvet trans i had put in and my edelbrock small block. I still have ethem under my garage workbench wrapped up and complete for 30 yrs...!
