It’s awesome, but ya lost me at, “all electric”. Not practical, especially for actually camping.

There is tie down on the sides of the fridge. I would look for any tie downs in the truck.

I like to call these kei suvs just because for how practical they are like the shape and the interior space is identical to a keu car and plus with these any build for adventure or work use is possible just like a kei car

A van is a social life upgrade. If you have one you have something to haul things in, and in a pinch something to live/party in. If you have this, you add value to your place in your family, a circle of friends, a band, someone who needs to move to a new place, a group of people who want to travel somewhere together etc.

8,000 miles on my gas sprinter. Maybe too soon to make a commitment!! Very happy with my purchase. I own an electrical business and it’s a 170 sprinter . it’s loaded front to back with shelves and tools. I do not know the weight. But i average 12-13 in town. 16-17 high way depending on spends. 17 @70 but who does 70 on a long trip!! 😉 I pull a scissor lift and trailer that weighs around 4500 pounds in town it pulls it no joke likes it’s not there. You know it’s there obviously but it’s so smooth with the low gears it’s like it’s not there. I pulled it on a 4 hour trip and averaged about 10mpg @ 70 and I would not loose speed going over hills!! (Louisiana hills). All and all I can’t complain. My old van was a 2020 ford transit 3.5, 10 speed tans. It would down shift on the highway with no trailer. God forbid I would pull a trailer. Very underpowered yet the specs say it has more power!! Drive the 2 and you will see. Transit 11.5 in town 14.5 highway Mid room 10feet cargo space with a ladder rack. (Ladder rack I’m sure took some fuel) Sprinter 12-13 in town 16-17 highway High roof (14 feet cargo space) HUGE . No need for a ladder rack because I have enough room to carry a 14 foot ladder and a 28 foot extension ladder. And the van looks very professional coming down the road. So far I’m loving it!!

You mentioned when talking about the engine the ability to get more power…curious what you might be able to share about that?
@StephenAldaco7 күн бұрын
@@sarahhodson2316 k24 is super modifiable. You can add super chargers turbo chargers or just get an exhaust / intake. If you really want power you can always upgrade the engine from the tsx and drop it in.

OK number one it took him years to do all this. The average element owner would have to be in it for the long haul second he's easily two or even three times the value of the original element into everything else he's done I mean who has 20 or 30 grand to put into a eight to $10,000 vehicle? By the time you do all the things he's done to this just get a sprinter already. But I get it you're married to the idea of a Honda element being able to do everything and you're in the "community" and all that, but oh my gosh, every other word out of his mouth is custom and all I hear is $$ .. cool in a KZbin video sort of way but you better come at something like this with deep pockets or just be willing to spend a lot of money overtime and be an extreme gear head on top of everything else

Hi Stephen, Thank you for sharing parts of your life! It's such a fascinating topic, and you present everything in a way that's both engaging and easy to follow. Lately, I’ve developed an interest in Honda Elements after noticing them around town and even at places like Starbucks, which eventually led me to discover your channel. A friend of mine has one, and I was amazed when we fit our full-sized bicycles inside without needing to disassemble them for a trip to an indoor cycling class during a snowy winter. Learning that you actually live in your Honda Element was even more intriguing! I’ve always been curious about how people manage the logistics of living in a vehicle or maintaining a mobile lifestyle. For example, how do you handle car registration and insurance without a physical garaging address? What about essentials like a driver’s license, health insurance, cellphone plans, credit cards, banking, taxes, and other necessities that typically require a permanent address? I had a somewhat related experience. I owned a condo but took a 6-to-18-month contract in another state across the country, which stretched into 2.5 years. During that time, I was involved in a highway accident with an uninsured driver, and my car insurance was canceled. The company claimed I’d misrepresented the garaging address on my policy, even though my home state remained my permanent address, as my insurance agent had advised. Eventually, I got the insurance reinstated, had my car repaired, and then canceled all my policies with that carrier-car, home, and umbrella included. I also wonder-are you constantly on the move, or do you tend to settle in one place for longer stretches? How do you manage personal hygiene, like showering and restroom access? And, out of curiosity, how do you approach dating? I imagine navigating the “Want to come back to my Honda Element?” conversation could be interesting! Finally, how do you deal with extreme weather conditions, like damaging hail, freezing winters, or scorching heat? If you’ve already created a video covering these topics, I’d love a pointer to it! If not, I’d be really interested in hearing your insights about the logistics of living in a Honda Element. Looking forward to hearing more! 😊
