@ likewise! I’m still in the rust repair stages but you haven’t had any issues with moisture in your lines at all? I have a mini dryer from Harbour freight and the blue filters so hoping when it comes to paint I’ll do it in sections to keep the moisture at a low through the lines.

Sorry to see this is in your Ram. I literally just went through it. Rebuilding mine now. I would recommend a melling high volume oil pump ($220), it keeps your lobes and lifters with more oil. You gotta go that deep in to it anyway, might as well. Just a thought for you to think about. Hope everything goes well for your truck.

Thanks for this video. I have the clunk or thump noise when I accelerate from a dead stop. My friend says it might be the rear differential bushing. Did you make a video of that? And do you have sound recording of the noise it made prior fixing the rear differential bushings? Thanks again.
@Frank_tha_tank122 күн бұрын
I don't have a sound recording of the sound but if you can use a prybar and see if it moves a lot then you know when you put it in gear it's going to make a clunk noise.

Do these aftermarket ones have to slide on or do they have a cut to wrap them around the bar? I know jeep welds the oem bushings to help them last longer so just curious before I go buying whole new bar. Also was the ride quality/sound ok with these on?
@Frank_tha_tank1Ай бұрын
These slide over the bar and honestly this option was better than buying an entire whole bar for me. My ride quality is better and feels stiffer not sure if that’s what you’re going for but I like a stiffer ride around corners

Hey guys, I bought the one peace drive shaft and I installed it... got that very nasty vibration some are reporting at speed. The cause is the transfer case shaft and pinion angles are not setup for a drive shaft using universal joints. I haven't measure the actual angles at the transfer case end and the differential end but it is obvious they are not equal. When I look at the 2 peace shaft installed, the transfer case to the hanger bearing is aligned, and then the rear section of the shaft is angle slightly down to the rear diff. In order for the 1 peace shaft with u-joints to work, the angle of the diff needs to be tweaked "down" to the same angle of the transfer case shaft. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an easy way to tweak the pinion angle of the diff because of the way it is mounted onto the rear sub-frame. I am going to look into this more as I want the 1 peace shaft as the new 2 peace I installed only lasted 6 months for me. I think I might be able to adjust the front diff mount to change the angle.
@Frank_tha_tank1Ай бұрын
Yes I agree I got a slight vibration when I installed the one peace driveshaft. I’m not sure if it was due to the fact that it wasn’t balanced correctly but I had to go back to a new stock unit and my Car Has been great since.
@KzooDaytonaАй бұрын
Thanks man! So all you need is a good tune with this delete? No check engine, misfires or issues? And what about the cam/lifters? Do I need to upgrade any of those ?
@Frank_tha_tank1Ай бұрын
Yeah the lifters need to be upgraded to the srt ones and if you install every correct you shouldn’t have any issues. My car is running fine.
@KzooDaytonaАй бұрын
@@Frank_tha_tank1okay bet thank you, and what about the stock cam will that hold up fine? I’m guessing it will with a good tune but all the mds delete kits I find come with a non mds cam
@Frank_tha_tank1Ай бұрын
@KzooDaytona if you have a Diablo tuner u can turn it off with the tune but the correct way of doing it is buying the kit that comes with the cam and lifters you’ll get a bit more power and the lifters aren’t hydraulic which is why they fail in my person opinion. I have a video on my page explaining it it further details. But if your lifters haven’t failed yet then you can get away with this upgrade cheaper. Mines failed so I had to change the oil pump and other parts to be on the safe side.

@Frank_tha_tank12 ай бұрын
Best bang for your buck if you ask me the music sounds great and it’s loud. Upfront you won’t be able to put in the skar speaker or should I say I didn’t put it in due to the plastic that holds the speaker just bring so thing I doubt it can hold up that heavy skar speaker. But if u manage to make it work please let me know if it holds up. And the subs work great you might have to do some sort of enclosure like I had to do they hit harder but that’s subjective.
