What’s the total weight here? I’m planning on converting my adjustable spoiler into an active wing using two of these actuators I was wondering if they where strong enough to cope with the downforce especially as I plan for the spoiler to work as an air brake also

Hello, I would like to use an actuator with position sensor and commanded by a rocker switch, what models are recommended, I looking for this solution in your web site, but I don't know if I need or not of the control board and if the control board allows be commanded by a rocker switch. I'm plan to order the products when I got these answers. I have 2 possible applications, first to command an elevator trim tab in an experimental airplane and second with 3 fixed positions to command a wing flaps.

hi the the arm goes out and then goes back is there a constant voltage to it as i want to push a button on my window blind remote control but i need one that pushes and retracts all in one cycle my 12v is constant i think this would work as long as the 12 v input can stay constant . i want it to push button then retract after 1 second and then not come on again until the power is cut and then comes on again as its a projector in a cinama so the projector comes on triggers your timer the arm pushes the button on the remote and the window blinds come down and i dont want the button re pressed untill the next time i use cinama please help i dont want it to run continuously just one cycle or the blinds will be going back up again as the button would be re pressed again and again please help cheers sir

maybe this can help me build my hand, and legs. ( I am not missing them, I am just building an android. Any suggestions or ideas?)
@oatmealman15863 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't suggest using actuators or servos on parts like the legs. Since they aren't able to be back driven, meaning enough force against them will break them. So I would suggest only using them if the robot isn't meant for harsh conditions.
@EmoBoiLink3 жыл бұрын
Like for fingers and stuff, the larger ones will be the joints

Why don't you just use the linear servo's shaft to slide in to the pipe? The whole wire plus shaft thingy is redundant.
@AztecWarrior69_699 ай бұрын
Only a stupid person would suggest that.
@ActuonixMotionDevices7 ай бұрын
That would be a better design, but we just used what we had kicking around.
@AztecWarrior69_697 ай бұрын
First, this is not a servo. Second, the Linear Actuator's push rod does not have the sheer strength of the bolt. Third, the slide bolt lock is already made to do this. Why on earth would a smart person waste all that time to make something way more costly than something already made? Makes no sense.
