Apart from the great harmonica playing, Charlie Baty's guitar playing in the background is brilliant, can't stop listening 👍👍👍

Damn I miss this style of playing. This is how music should be played! It's kinda stuck right in the middle of Rock and Progressive. Another Canadian band that I nev r had the chance to witness live.

I purchased this CD & another one of Buford's CDs from him down in San Diego's Blind Lemon's Blues Club in the late 1990s. He was hanging out with James Cotton while JC was on tour. Very nice man.

I need a way to buy your music. I’m missing the last 1 or 2 CBK albums. I don’t want discs, and want to buy the music in the best way for you artists.

Columbus Ohio? Chuck was from Chicago. Jeremy Johnson lives near St Paul. At the time this album was recorded, I think Wilson still lived in Texas and Flynn lived in Milwaukee. Not sure about Innes and Taylor, but I suspect somewhere in California.

This is an Eddie Boyd number. It's ok, but where's the piano solo? You might like ' Nothing but Trouble' by Boyd. Driftin' was also covered by the Big Town Playboys.

Used to see Curly and Robert Ealey regularly back in the day in Dallas. In fact, one of the founders of Top Cat Records used to office his Real Estate business out of the run down house next to mine which also doubled as a rehearsal space for his own blues band named appropriately enough "The Top Cats". Curly was a big hit every time he performed. Old as dirt, he would shuffle up to the mic with a walker and belt out "Every day, every day I got da blues..." and flash a toothless grin. I remember remarking to others that Curly has always been old. He was in his 90s back then (in the 90s) and I would reflect on how old I was and calculate how old Curly would have been when I was born and conclude, correctly, he's always been old. My mother was also a visiting nurse to Curly for a time. Ah the good ol' days...
