JP was and is number 1, all the rest are poor clones, no matter who they are. The desire to grab a piece of the pie is a pathetic sight, especially for KK

I get so much joy from this. Been a JP fan since the early 80'sand KK was always my fave. To see what this band is doing in 2024 is so awesome. Such a tight and well choreographt line-up. Noel is just like Harry in Maiden, up front playing to the fans. Giving them their moneys worth. And Tim...OMG. HE'S in career best form. Again, engaging the audience. KK's Priest is the antithesis of Judas Priest in 2024. Judas should pack up ffs. Rob is pathetic and he is embarrassing to watch. Tribute pica of Tipton on the big screen. A producer as their second guitarist.....come on. Falcon...get.out now while you still have your dignity, Son. You're an amazing player and performer. Don't go down with this old shit. Sorry, ship.

@@JelloFluoride Rob is about to be 74, man. I'm so happy both guys are still pushing proper metal but this isn't even remotely a contest. Nightcrawler on their Epitaph tour is /nasty/ and he's like 70 years old for it. I am not knocking the Ripper. He has ridiculous power in this song. But Halford is extremely better these days even vs his old reunion stints like Rising in the East or Metal Masters. His sobriety has given him a huge finale gap for his talents. Priest should have brought back K.K instead of having Andy join the band for tours. Richie is a generational talent, but his Zak Wylde influence bugs the hell out of me on every one of his solos. And now he plays all of the solos lmao. It is the worst part of their current lineup.

First time I saw Judas Priest was with Ripper Owens. When he did "Victim of Changes" my jaw dropped! I did get to see the re-united Priest with Rob and KK. Both great shows! I also saw Ripper with his solo project "Beyond Fear" in a small club called Jaxx in Springfield, VA in 2005. He was sandwiched in between Chris McCaffrey and Jon Oliva's Pain. Great bill and great show, but it was a weekday (Tues night?) and there was no one there! Great for me, but not so great for the bands.

I had a similar experience at a small club in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2005. The venue was not adequate for Tim's greatness. There was a guy at the edge of the stage who kept screaming for half the set, "You are the greatest singer in the world, man!" At one point, Tim said, "This guy here is very excited!!!," which was amusing. At another moment, Tim pointed out a guy filming with a semi-pro digital camera and scolded him (it was the beginning of KZbin, after all). That was a bit harsh. The moral of the story: I prefer Judas Priest with Tim.
