Animal fats are healthy. Frying food in toxic seed oils is dangerous. These snacks are good for you & tasty/satisfying. I did the same with duck skins & they were delicious!

Butchers may usually throw it away so you could always ask them to sell it to you

I save all the skin each time I cook chicken and put them in a ziplock bag and store in the freezer…after a year or when I’ve accumulated so much that’s when I make crispy chicken skin. It really takes longer but you need to be patient, I usually boil everything mixed with patis, vinegar and ground pepper, then divide in two batches when there’s only a few liquid left….fry in low to medium heat until golden brown, set aside and put the second batch and follow same procedure. When the second batch is cold enough, I heat the same oil on the pan and put all the browned chicken skin, after a few minutes I sprinkled with water to get the chicken skin crunchy. Remove and drain……perfect with spicy vinegar.😋🥰👍
