VR looks better in 2d 2K60fps than in the goggles. And i Run everything ultra with res scale X2.

@@oQ_Kane_Qo I almost exclusivly play RU dude. US is always more populated on the servers I play on. I play EU around midnight and dont do queues. Just pick a lower pop server. Out of 30 hours I think 25 are RU. So you are dead wrong.

@TeeJayPlays I heard something about Russian hackers holding servers for ransom. Like $80k crypto is what I read but don't quote me cuz I didn't look further into it. I've never played Arma before but I've always been interested. I bought it last week and it's great. I just wish I could play more

Scale of the mods is chosen by the person who made them. The main problem, i believe, is that the gloves are way too big. The hands in general. And with that being off, all the other stuff either looks too small in the hands on flatscreen, or feels too big in VR. Kind of a curse of the game until the devs remake the gloves. AFAIK, the hands etc will be fixed to scale better with IRL hands. Apart from that, if the mods show up ingame, thats how they are intended to look by the mod creator. Skins are diff, they just overlay on the existing weapons and the scale cannot be changed. Like my gloves mod for example, it looks okay in the texture editor but then ingame the hands are giant and one of the textures is flipped... BT is NOT done yet and modding is really in its early stages still. Kinda dead right now imho. But what is there is all made with love. I did about 40 mods iirc, most are requests, some are my own choice. But i stopped since I keep hitting that invisible wall of 'the scale is off and i cant actually make models or maps so lets just let the big boys do their thing' lol. Sorry for the big wall of text, but i hope this answers your questions.

Because I believe you made the video for arsenals Taran Tactical 2011, and in your video it was absolutely perfect and was to scale and then when I downloaded like I said it's the size of a shotgun lol. So unless what you're saying happened since you made the video which is obviously a possibility then yeah something is broken. Maybe just on my end but still broken.

@@TGxAssassin Since the hands are big, arsenal made pistol bigger so it fit the 3D model of the glove size. But yeah it looks big ingame. But not in 2D on youtube. Only in 3D in VR. There are multiple things like this that most people dont see until they actually play with the game. Resolution for example, most people think VR looks super crisp but it never does. I honestly dont think your end is broken. Maybe just expectations not being met.

I get some comments on here saying smokes bring too much attention etc. Obviously you shouldnt start off by throwing smokes at people. But like, lets say your vehicle gets ambushed and your guys can hop out but its an open area. If everyone tossed 1 single smoke nade. Survival rates SURELY go up by a substantial amount. Im not saying its gonna protect from every single attack angle, but it will at least hinder the enemy. 'smokes dont last long' is not a reason to just not throw them. I salute you sir, keep doing you!

@ Hope they fix it soon. Havent played a single game since it started. Just some fooling around in gamemaster, trying to find the best car bomb strategies.

I cant recommend it enough man. Has crossplay too so if you have any friends that play it, thats a huge plus point. Watch a review or maybe some raw unedited gameplay and youll quickly see if its worth buying or not :)
