This tune reminds me of an old friend of mine from High School. We tried to connect romantically a few times. It dud not gel. While I was never his, I gave him my heart 4 years ago, but he was not ready to hold it. (Homage to Dan Fogelburg). I still tried to hold on. We could not even connect as friends. This was his choice. Now my heart belongs to another. Sad But True (homage to Metallica). We have had an unorthodox relationship of sorts through KZbin music. Now that is over as of today. I will miss you for a time but ready for fresh connections. It has been quite a ride, yes? ❤ Stand Tall. That is my intent.

❤ Tori! Glad she is still performing 🎭, Love her 🎶 🎵. Her voice reminds me of Kate Bush. But, what I Love abt her is she sings abt women's abuse and other issues. Remembering her and all the other ladies at Lilith fair.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Not only the lyrics, but also the rhythm plays a significant role in this song. Although it's a story about the struggles of common people, there is a happy and fast melody during most of the song. You don't have much time to appreciate the little things because you're always in a hurry, you need to work to provide subsistence to your family. And then, suddenly, the beat goes down. The pace is much slower. Then you realize most of your life has passed in a blink of an eye and your companion is no longer there. It's shocky, it's tragic. You slow down and take a deep breath, you mourn a little. But than you look at the clock: it's still ticking. The pace becomes fast again. Life's still going by and the clock won't slow down for you.

Wise men say Only fools rush in But I can't help falling in love with you Shall I stay? Would it be a sin If I can't help falling in love with you? Like a river flows Surely to the sea Darling, so it goes Some things are meant to be Take my hand Take my whole life, too For I can't help falling in love with you Like a river flows Surely to the sea Darling, so it goes Some things are meant to be Take my hand Take my whole life, too For I can't help falling in love with you For I can't help falling in love with you

How could there not be any comments? True Canadian art. I saw SPTW in 1986 and have been blessed to have them with with me for 38 years. Also I must thank Barney Bentall for keeping this alive. Peace to all

In 1973 Valdi came and played over lunch hour in the theatre in Forest Lawn High School in Calgary. He liked the students so he played for an extra 20 minutes and the school cancelled the class for that time. At the time he could have gotten around 600 dollars for the time but he came and sang, and staid an extra 20 minutes for only 135 dollars total. What a hero. I was first captured by Rock And Roll Song but at 68 years old now, Renaissance is at the center of my heart

No offense to the dude from GB, but what happened to Matt Chamberlain? He and John Evans were untouchable. The drumming here sounds a bit too heavy handed.
@HB-xf2xl6 ай бұрын
You think this drummer is more heavy handed than Matt? Interesting. This tour was originally scheduled for 2021, Matt was supposed to be the drummer but the tour was canceled and was rescheduled for 2022, at which time Matt was already contracted to play with a tour with Lorde and then Brandi Carlile, so Ash Soan stepped in. He's a phenomenal drummer.
