Thanks for the video. I have to do an install in a couple of months that uses all the outputs on a s32 as monitor mix outs, and I have been using and Allen and Heath sq7 for 2 years, and would have been lost at this point.

When I made this video it was in the middle of covid and my new son was sleeping upstairs and our house is small. I think I was both tired and worried I would disturb him talking too loudly, I should have gained up the voiceover before rendering it. Sorry about that 😅

Good question! I believe that the default “meta” key on mac is “esc” . It’s been so long since I’ve done this, I hope that I’m giving the correct info.

brew install minicom select from list of: ls /dev/cu.* add selected to yout serial port: minicom -s save as default and exit run as: minicom

Well that’s a good video because I can see a lot of people getting confused because they don’t realize XLR out means only the local outputs on the board. The message is kind of crazy and maybe there should be a way for it to change but once again it is just letting you know that those outputs are not local and are coming from somewhere else. The only part I can see wrong with your video is the typical ethercon cable. You have to use the shielded EtherCon cable with the barrel type connector otherwise it voids the warranty and can cause damage to your aes50 ports

Yes you are correct! The cable itself is shielded, but without the barrel type connector it’s void. I might make a new shorter video. With the correct CAT5e cable, which I do have. Your input in appreciated rusin jeff
