How big can you make the waves without crashing MMD? Is there a way to make them look more stormy?

there is another .x effect by beamman that can make the wave look more stormy if u looking for stormy look water this effect is not a great option

@@yoshimmd2014 yes it supports mme, (idk if “mme tool” is something specific) however the effect options are in different locations and the program is basically mmd but it’s a different layout from mmd, however I don’t see “effect mapping” on it.. I’ll probably end up having to use mmd but I’m stubborn lol. (edit) oh, I looked up mme tool and I may have figured out what you meant! I'll try it. thanks a bunch!

put ray.x (main ray-cast shader effect) into mmd first and MaterialMap tab will appear

I don't see it working on Ray 1.5.2 . Is it because its more new? cuz when i do any skybox and then i do the water and the wetness i have no movements. and it just a floor with the sky's color xd

hi, i have tried to follow your tutorial, and two others but for some odd reason i cannot get ikgodray to display at all, even when i deselect the skydome from the material tab under the ikgodray option - it just still won't show up, i also edited the fx to change the color and brightness i suppose it's what it's called, and um it still won't display..i really need help cause i just ran out of options on what the problem is :(

i've recently had this issue too, apparently you need to lower the Si to -0.0100 for it to show. but even though i got it to show it only shows up underneath the character. none of the other value boxes seem to move it to where the beams should be. I'll come back and edit if i figure it out

@@sleepykittyMMD oh well that's interesting,...have you tried moving it towards your character manually by dragging it around?

@@LolitaLaceCotton as far as I know its an effect and it doesn't have a model that I can drag around. I did try moving my stage and human model around but it still only shows up below him no matter how far down I put him. i asked in a few mmd servers hopefully someone has a solution to this 😥

oml the most helpful tutorial i've seen on this. especially considering none of my pc's seem to be able to use volumetric fog(despite following tutorials). Finally i think I know how some of my favorite videos get this effect. tysm💖💖
