A small caution re. battery adapters for Ryobi. These do not have discharge sensing so do not allow the battery to run down too low.

Hmm the quantity of energy which can be stored in a battery it’s directly correlated to his density. Supposing that we have a density of 180wh/kg in every battery, it would be no way for the clone to weight less and store 1/3 more of the energy. Even the fact that they have the same size does not make sense, they need to be more battery inside a 6Ah (10 more) so it will require more space. It’s more probable a 4ah too. You can simply see it if you remove the screws of the case and watch how many batteries there are inside. 10for the 2ah, 20 for the 4ah, and I suppose 30 for the 6ah. A 4ah original battery will have 5blocks of 4 cells each, all connected in series, and each block has 2 battery connected in series and 2 in parallel. So in total you will have 20 batteries, 2*4,2v=8,4v*5blocks, total 40V. For the 2a there are 10 batteries, all 10 connected in series one whit the other (5blocks in series of 2 battery each, those in series too). So the 6a need to have 30 batteries, I suppose 5 blocks, all connected in series, whit 6 batteries for block, where each block will have 2 set in series of 3 battery in parallel. So 4,2*2*5=40v, but whit 6Ah of total capacity. Sorry if i explained it badly, English is not my first language.

When building cells, there are tradeoffs that can be made balancing between power density and energy density. A 6AH battery with the same weight. A battery that weighs much less but has 30% higher capacity is very questionable.
