Hello thank you for sharing the recipe. Can I check with you why sometimes the cake doesn’t absorb the butter sauce? The middle part of the cake will still be dry. Thank you

Thank you for watching! ☺️ Poke holes with a skewer or butter knife throughout the cake while it’s still warm, then pour the sauce over the cake making sure to cover the entire surface of the cake, and allow it to fully absorb!

Hi il definitely try to make , theres sumthing i wanted to know your malva is this dessert supposed to be dryish ,/ soggy, i used to make other malva recipes but i wasnt happy so i never made malva in some time now as sum recipes which i used is dry and others which i used are soggy , so im assuming its due to tooo much toppings, as some people do use tooo much toppings , i have came across recipes certain peoples use sauce and custard an the icecream, an then others, they just used the sauce with custard without icecream and others used sauce with icecream without custard so does toppings make it toooo soggy

The Malva Pudding soaks up the sauce, the quantity of the sauce is enough to moisten the pudding, and does not make it soggy. A Custard, nestle cream, or ice cream topping, is added on each individual serving, so it will not make the pudding soggy if it’s eaten when served.

Hi can i make this this, is it better to skip jam or its better to use strawberry, i just have strawberry jam on hand now an also i dont know sizes but i know i have 2 glass square pyrex dish or tray an my big tray holds over 2 litres water under 3litres water an small tray holds over 1litre water under 2litre water so shall i use big tray or either works?

Thank you for watching! I have used the Robertsons Steak & Chops Seasoning. You can substitute with any BBQ seasoning dry rub, or a Cajun Seasoning should do! It adds a little flavour…
