Firstly,thank you for Subscribing to our channel much appreciated! We are pretty much the same age I turn 62 on the 24th of this month. If you have only been running for 2 years a sub 24min 5km is pretty impressive!!!!!! Just keep consistent with your running and your times will improve even more. Marathons are hard at our age but i'm sure you will see great improvements with the Marathon as well in time! Thanks again.😄

I remember doing a BAK race in Bellville late 80's which started in Voortrekker road and finished on the track! The sub 40 days!!!!!😃

@@SIMONSPECK Before even my time, but this one was probably in Feb, now extinct. The start had always been close to the pool. One year we were misdirected at 100m and ran down an alleyway. Two options, a long queue at the one flight of stairs or climb the wall. Hence known as Bellville The Wall race. The badge was redesigned as a brickwall consisting of a lot of individual bricks.
