Yes sir. Possible but practically difficult to attain. For this small scale level, the vacuum pressure or vacuum head is higher than the data head available in the tube. But for the overhead tank, the datum head is higher than the vacuum head. At that time, the pressure difference was not sufficient to transfer the water to the tank.

Yes, But large tanks are required to create vaccum, will explain with theoretical calculations

Hi sir, 1. Path is used for measuring the stress in any particular direction, so that we can plot the graph 2. Unable to get your question 3. Axial stress can be taken with Z direction

I followed exact steps that you have followed to create geometry but I am getting error saying "No Valid bodies found for 2S analysis in the following parts: Hub, Shaft". When I click okay, another error message pops up saying unable to attach the geometry.

Hi sir, You can assume the trial function in any order equation and, first, second or third order, the only condition is the assumed trial function has to satisfy the given Boundary conditions, Lower order trial function will lead to less accurate final solutions
