Here’s my take and I’m gonna make a video explaining my thought process for everything. But essentially a champion with a high skill cap is usually defined by specific mechanics that the player needs to utilize properly to outplay his opponents. Examples can be : Yasuo timing windwall. Fiora timing parry, Irelia resetting Q’s etc.. K’Sante never really had any hard mechanics. Other than W canceling which was just broken. Yea it took skill but the ability wasn’t intended to work that way hence why I think it was broken. His Q hit box was massive, it hit a small radius around him, slowed the enemy and would knock up and stun them too. Basically as soon as you got on someone they were cooked if they couldn’t kill you because they can’t escape you. His W was easy to hit because you’re Q was OP and ur dash was too quick. On top of that you could aim it so there was no punishment to the ability. If fiora whiffs her W generally she loses fights. If Ksante missed it he probably just blocked X amount of damage and could “mini dash” backwards to safety. After that his Ultimate just made him OP strong since he had scaling true damage on hit after marking targets. Essentially he would just sit on you and then flip the switch to kill you effortlessly. To nerf him they made his early game weaker in trade off a stronger late game. Q was less dmg , mana cost was higher and W mana cost was WAY top high. Essentially you couldn’t play the game. To find a happy in between and make him more skillful you make his Q harder to hit BUT it deals more dmg. Same applies for his W, make it harder to hit but allow you to use it more than once per form per fight and in AO deals true damage cs n. Now his E in AO let him play like an assassin, hoping walls and 1 shotting Carries, which wasn’t his intended play style.

@@janyewestlol I appreciate the response man! Yeah I’d totally watch a video of your thoughts, as I do like the idea of having stronger Q’s in compensation for harder to hit Q’s. It was more so the small things like no E auto reset that kinda bummed me out. Once I get power I’ll try to get some more games in and get a better idea of how he feels lol. I don’t think Conq is viable anymore since he has no mare AD ratios in his kit. I guess you still could, but I don’t think it’s worth it in the long run. The other viable options are Aftershock or Spellbook. 😊

Generally you would go grasp into melee matchups and then the latter for ranged ones ☝️

Yeah I feel you, but I’d rather have a stronger laning phase, or a laning phase period since now you can contest champs like yorick and illaoi and have a chance at playing the game even in the worse matchups. In terms of the W I think maybe allow you to aim it in base form is acceptable.

Thanks man! Yeah man overall Riot wants K'Sante to be less of a straight out backline diver. His W makes more sense now being able to use it multiple times per teamfight and also doesn't take half ur mana pool. Downside is that you cant aim it. But with time u learn to use it euither as an extension to land ur q or to instantly chain it with ur e. Unfortunately his E is kinda weird but overall I think the fact that you have a laning again is worth the trade offs because I think waiting to scale every game is bad for soloqueue.

The clip is just highlighting the fact that I forgot I can’t hop walls anymore. I know that wasn’t a clean play, wasn’t supposed to be it’s just to showcase the reality of dealing with a rework :)

The whole idea is that I forgot that I can't hop over walls anymore thus my initial play of me aiming my R in that direction being bad. I'm not complaining it's more so that the realization of the rework is starting to kick in. :D

I don't think there's enough games to make a proper analysis around that ELO, but give it a couple more weeks and we'll see. :)

The idea is to make him more skill oriented than a stat checker. Hence why his abilities hit harder but are harder to land consistently. Overall I kinda like it but need to test it out more.

The E is whack as fk, I think they need to give him a bit more range on it in all out maybe , let him go over walls but remove the shield and no more dashing to allies

Yeah I tried to make him work in ranked and even when I'm ahead I feel like I have no time to do anything in All out form because it lasts only 15 seconds, people just flash away, or peel me off and then i slowly die with my broken ankles trying to even land an auto attack on anything.. It's pathetic really..

I’ll take those tips into consideration even though I’m prettt sure Riot is gonna tweak him again pretty soon. From what it Lola like is that they want him to pick when to ult EVEN MORE carefully now and the main use is to pick a (preferably) immobile champion such as soon bruisers or tanks and zone them out of a fight while playing front to back with your team instead of being a full on back line diver.
