Im not sure what variety this is...perhaps lsu champagne or one close to it but its not an LSU Gold fig. The tree next to is looks like an LSU Gold but not the fig featured.

Tried a fig off my first Brown Turkey tree this year and it had a pleasant peach taste.
@baneverything55803 ай бұрын
Baby Cardinals decided to go up my fig branches biting 90% of the tiny pea sized Brown Turkey figs. I thought it was an insect doing it so I put bug dust on them. More formed and the birds bit them in half too. I finally stopped it by wrapping my two trees that produced this year. I put 4 more Celeste trees in the ground this March and have another cutting from the other in a pot. My trees have leaves that don`t match either fig type so who knows what they are. I got one ripe Brown Turkey so far and it was the sweetest fig I`ve ever tasted. I was expecting a very bad tasting fig after hearing all the big fig experts say it`s not worth growing. My 2 year old tree is already massive and a cutting from this year is already 8 feet wide and 4 feet tall and has fruits.
