Please do face to face outreach/ guidance with facilities managers, business owners and exterior landscape companies working in the hotels and businesses along the north docks. They ignore emails. Things like when caterpillars ( butterfly and ermine moth) are found on plants and trees, the landscape maintenance companies and facilities managers require them to be sprayed off/ killed. No weeds allowed, despite the fact a lot of the business block roof and terrace beds are set up for wildflower seeds. If wildflowers are allowed, they are imported, flowering, from Holland. No decay allowed because the client doesn't allow decay. Sedum has to be kept completely weed and insect free. They require flowering plants, no seed heads, no browns, all of this requires heavy watering, with inadequate water supply (estimate at least 500 litres a week per business roof, 400 metre2 +++. It's ridiculous.

Really interesting. Thank you. People generally and especially clients, have difficulty with watching decay happen. Expecting flushes of flowers in Jan Feb...

Fantastic presentation. Although Randall doesn't have a background in ecology or countryside management, he clearly knows his stuff. I'm sure the 18th Baron would be proud to know how much his great-grandson values nature.

Great project, though I do always feel like it's cheating a bit to call forestry plantations rewilding.

Interesting presentation. It could be fun to calculate your greenhouse emission reductions from cutting down on cattle production and allowing a change in vegetation.

So many great engagement and education projects on the go - the education centre sounds like a great idea and hope it's intended to be built using the most innovative carbon neutral techniques so as to encourage biodiversity, with no car park

Living this now with a single acre, I'm living in beautiful symbiosis with nature. I hate most humans because they are so destructive, evil and stupid, so it is wonderful to sit here listening to you speak in such a symbiotic sense similar to how I think+live. Thank you
