Thank you Caroline! I tried this on my guy today, fully expecting a pull back as you warned about. Nope. A lot of licking and chewing after one session. Normally he would slam his hoof down after I finished picking it. He released his hoof with control after this stretch. I will be adding this gentle stretch to our grooming routine.

So very much appreciated!! I have purchased a Friesian brood mare and would like to start riding her. These will be excellent to build her topline! 💯🙏 🐴💕

CONTRACTION OF THE VENTRAL CHAIN OF MUSCLES ON THE HORSES BOTTOM LINE IS MOST IMPORTANT.. THE TOP LINE MUST BECOME ACTIVATED BUT MUST STAY RELAXED1 best Bruce Peek
@lilik69454 ай бұрын
great tip! by activating the horses core, the dorsal chain becomes a bridge that supports the rider like a sling. no actual muscle contraction in the back is needed to carry the weight

Me too! She's 21 and had previously bad fitting saddle and riding. I'll see what I can do to rehab and make her more comfy during riding. Here's to the 21s!

Great question! This activation is applicable for all equine disciplines. Our horses quads are recruited for dressage and cow horses alike. Really effective for performance horses!
