i loved this fucking ending, atleast what i interpreted out of it. Before this scene she had went out for a swim. She saw a guy sitting across from the lake watching her as she swam and because of her PTSD it gives off the idea that she might be hallucinating. In this particular scene if you pay close attention youll notice the guy they encountered in the road is wearing the exact same thing as the guy watching from the lake. The trippy part is that she doesnt overreact this time because she doesnt want to seem paranoid because it hasnt done her any good throughout the movie. The worst part is that this would probably be the best time for her to be paranoid and warn her sister and her husband about the danger they are about to soon encounter. I love it because it reminds me of the boy who cried wolf in a strange opposite but very similar way. boy cries wolf when there is no danger and when there finally is danger noone believes him. In this one girl cries for help but when the danger finally appears, she doesnt cry for help.
