I have the same dryer and just put a new thermostat and heating element in exactly like you did and no heat still. Any idea what else it might be??

Mine didn't have a noticeable burnt smell to it but I don't think is out of the realm of possibility.

Well, Ibchanged my stove heating element. So, now I'm gonna try to do my dryer! I smelled something burning, so mine might have burned the coil. THANK YOU!

contact with the wires with the back off would not shock you, it would kill you.

Highly unlikely it’s 30 amps shock you hard at most unless you have an underlying heart condition

Just changed my element following this. I bought mine new less than a year ago. And my element had arc marks all over the place. Works now tho 😊

How did you find a parts list for your dryer?

We've had ours for probably 10 years!! We've replaced that thermal fuse a few times but this is the first time to replace the element and thermostat.

The original tag on the hose packaging is shown at 1:00 in the video. That should give you all of the info you need. Thanks for watching.

I think internal diameter is 4.32mm and external 6.35mm. That's what the label probably means.
