Why are people so fussy. If l turn on to listen to kpop songs, l will turn off those l dont like, whats the problen. If l like l watch, its so easy. Different people appreciate different types of music. Just turn on and off. There are so many groups and l dont see the fuss. Dont try to be a music critic unless you are really qualified from some prestigious universities.

Abt the song concept thing I honestly don’t know what to think anymore cause when a group right has one specific concept after a few releases and comebacks fans say their tired of it and want a new sound so then the group does that and when their sound changes people say no we don’t like your music anymore and start hating and unstanning the group because of this. I know having a certain sound repeated constantly can be seen as annoying over time but I still feel like there is a way for companies to give songs to their groups that are different but still stick to their concept idk know if Aespa is a good enough example cause their concept is AI right and in their releases they still keep to that AI concept even tho they still give kinda a variety of different sounds but idk I don’t really mind when a group sticks to one sounds because if it’s what they excel at then ok cause not every group has the ability to fit different concepts and that’s ok

@@xxits_moonxx5947 true, itzy is a good example when it comes to the shift in their music, they experimented but the audience didnt like it making them lose a lot of listeners, so its really 50/50, but i think if a group doesn’t do like a very drastic change and do it gradually and actually get a good promo (which itzy didnt) it is more likely to achieve success, i would go for nmixx as the example, after o.o and dice they released love me like that, which was not really a mixxpop song, yet it was their most successful song at that time

@@goexoty I agree it’s better to gradually implement it so that listeners don’t get too put off by the change in sound. Itzys a pretty good example cause it’s tru that if you compare their musical direction now to then it’s a pretty huge leap but then let’s wait and see what they can do now that lia is back. Then nmixx one is pretty accurate cause live me like this was pretty huge for them but I think their most recent album was pretty good

I feel like 'Lady' by Yubin could've been more popular if it was released during the 2020 80s concept craze or when city pop songs like 'Stay with Me' went viral on tik tok. It would've been a cool way to introduce her to a new audience of kpop fans who got into the genre during the pandemic and weren't familiar with 2nd gen artists yet.

I think that Girls just isn't a song you'd want to release during summer. It's really loud and full of harsh (?) sounds, so it's uncomfortable to listen to during warmer months when our bodies are already overwhelmed with heat. Or at least that's how I feel 😅

Itzy releasing Sneakers before Cheshire will always makes me confused and kinda mad because the hate train they've that time did overshadowed Cheshire despite how good it was.. Kep1er also has the same problem because why would W1 release We Fresh as the title track after the success of Up???? It could've been way better if Giddy or Galileo went first before wtv that song was..

Twice and RV both went back to nostalgic/archaic sounds because they were both due for new contracts in 21/22. When they both resigned SM repackaged the FMR album into one of the best kpop albums around, and likewise with JYP and Twice.

I didn't know the hate train for aespa was THAT bad 😭 I'm never updated about kpop, but I have been since last year. I'm glad aespa is finally getting the recognition and praises they deserve! I hope Jennie is doing well too. Being the most hated idol in the industry is by far the wildest thing ever. I hope she's well and healthy! <3

i use: edge glow (set on 5), sharpen 26, retro dv 3 (strength 44, speed 100), retro dv (blyr 14, filters 100, sharpen 14, speed 100), nostalgic light (filters 50, strength 20, range 60) filters, and sometimes add a png of pixels(?) :))

now i agree with everything else as well. but i love you now for supporting aespa. i love that they are getting love now but i was there before debut and girls era was so hard. i can’t even imagine going through that bs but what made me happy was the YOU ADMIT HOW TRASH THE CHOREO IS. i kept seeing videos like “it’s not the choreo it’s aespa” using the SAME vid it was so dumb but now people are kissing their asses and being fake hating on lesserafim. girl group need to be treated better

Jennie Solo: I think it was released at the right time because 2017 to 2018 is the peak of the tropical house trend and the sky rocketed popularity of the drop chorus. It got successful and a lot of hype because it happened during that era. Everglow Pirate: If this was released in 2012 or 2014, it would be the biggest hit. I know Everglow didn't exist in 2012, but this song is very 2nd gen coded with the t-ara influence. RV Queendom: I can understand where people are coming from, but this is just a really good pop song. If this was released in 2016, it definitely would've gained recognition. aespa Girls: I don't think this song should've been released at all. I didn't like it, and I don't think a lot of mys like it too because it felt very nct kick it coded. Even the girls themselves didn't enjoy Girls. Twice Scientist: I feel like this would've been successful if they put Fall In Love Again as the title track. It would've gained more recognition and success. I think if this was the cb than whatever I Can't Stop Me was, along with promoting Fall In Love Again as the title, it would've achieved greater heights. Tbh, it should been Feel Special -> Taste Of Love -> Formula Of Love.

I understand that you don’t like Girls but saying it shouldn’t have release hurts cuz I love that song. I liked all of their songs before spicy Era I still like their songs but not as much as next level, savage or girls. I don’t mind them changing as I can still enjoy what I liked and I am thankful for that.

i think being a new reveluv gives me the benefit of being able to listen to their musical backlog without having to wait for them to come out in live time affecting my opinions because i LOVE queendom. had i had to wait 2 years for it to release though? probably not as much. the longest wait i’ve had to deal with so far was just a few months because i got into them fairly shortly before chill kill’s announcement so i’ve not had to suffer with a disappointing release after a long hiatus. girls is one of my fav aespa title tracks but i also didn’t have to wait for that one, either. i seem to love all the songs people say weren’t worth the wait 😭 i’m not like a toxic poptimism person either, i just really enjoy most releases from my favorite groups

I love your editing omg, it's so pretty and aesthetic! and i agree so much about Jennie's solo, like at that time, jennie had an ankle injury which got her bashed for a "lazy" dancing, and was so much hated for basically existing and also the dating scandal with EXO's Kai, that era was an absolute mess, despite all the achievement SOLO accomplished. I still think that if Jennie released Solo in end 2019, then Rosé beginning 2020, and obv more songs for the group, it would've been better. honestly, YG fumbled BP discography so much it's crazy. Like they could've been even better than now and could've been even bigger than now. I also agree about aespa's girls, it's such a good song i was so sad abt what happened to them in 2022, like the way kpop stan just hated everything they did...
