its not chinese, it can be mandarin, cantonese or other dialect, "chinese" its not a langauge

Funny thing is that they don't even learn chinese from the same area. In Taiwan (shuhua's birthplace), the chinese is pronounced slightly different from Beijing, China (Yuqi's birthplace). And the Chinese use Simplified Chinese, while Taiwanese use Traditional Chinese.

when i was first getting into kpop i already like g-idle. i always noticed while watching videos after soojin left shuhua and yuqi seemed close and i wondered why. I bet the language barrier also creates closeness between them as they both understand eachother at their most relaxed. I think its very endearing and cute.
