I resonate with this song for so many personal reasons. I'm still running too. I think a lot of SA survivors run for the rest of their lives. I wish peace for us all, and that we may remain strong. It's not over, don't let go of life because of your pain. Make it into something worth living for.

I imagine this song written about The Civil War or War 1 or 2. It was hard times back then and still is today in a way but thank God for air condition and clean drinking not contaminated water.
