Im a new player to this game (been playing for a month) And I have full combo’d a couple of songs. My tip is to fiddle around with note speeds on an easy song because it will help you find ur pace. Also try full combo an easy song and it will help gain confidence <3 Your doing really well!

I recommend you to user a higher speed! any speed tho, whatever your comfortable with i recommend mostly till 10 maybe?

Here’s some tips to hopefully help you improve. It seems that you are hitting the notes too fast and that’s why you’re getting so many greats. You really don’t have to rush and what you should do is just keep your cool and wait for the notes to go to you rather than hitting it when you feel like it should be hit at. There’s a setting that can show whether the notes you hit are late or early so you can enable that as a way to remind yourself that you’re going too fast or too slow. You could also change the delay and speed if the notes to fit your intuition if you don’t want to learn the timings of the notes. Another thing that I saw is that you are spamming way too much in the spam sections. What you should do is to count the number of times you have tap and don’t do any more than that since you may hit too early and cause a good or a bad. If you’re using thumbs, you could try using your fingers since it’s easier to move around. But if you don’t want to, moving your hands together with your thumb to hit the notes can also help you remember which thumb will have to hit with next and/or help time the note. You could also shake your phone or whatever device you’re using to make it easier. By the way when I say shake your phone I mean when looking from a top-down view, it’s rotating. Hopefully you understand what that means. Hope this helps!

I can tell you've already improved so much from your first try a few days ago, so i want to help you out with some advice that helped me when i was a beginner too: 1. from what I could tell, you seemed a little nervous in your playing when the fast parts came so try and focus on your nerves. try to be calm and tell yourself you can always try again. for the fast parts, remember that they are constant, so once you find the tempo to hit the notes, you won't be off (that might be a little confusing). 2. try and find your optimal note speed I'm sure you know this already, but faster speeds are usually easier to play at. i'd say around 10.0 speed could be good, but its really up to you. just try and be 9.0+ speed. 3. Honestly, i think just playing the game often is the best way to improve. as long as you're playing and enjoying it, you'll notice significant improvement within days. if you play the easiest experts (lvl. 21) and aim to unlock their masters (7 goods or lower) and keep moving up in difficulty, eventually you'll get to clearing 90% of experts pretty easily. YOU GOT THIS!!

ur doing great!! i'd recemmend playing at a higher speed, maybe increase it by 0.5 when you get comfy with this speed and so on, its not a huge deal on hard mode but in expert and such which you will maybe try to do later lower speed means more notes, so getting used to high speed is good :DD

bro i used to play at 9.0 and I only recently worked my way up to 9.9 but 9.0 seems super slow 😭 good job btw u prob did that better than me (I'm a rank 13 player but I used to have a rank 28 ACC)

As someone who has played pjsk for a while (1 year to be exact, almost 2) just practice each day if you wanna get good! I believe in you! Change the note speed to around 10, 10 is better than 9 and also pull the gacha often if you wanna get a strong team (im addicted to pulling the gacha and I'm broke so im always farming for crystals😭)

you should get a faster note speed like 9.0 because as you eventually advance onto harder songs there will be more notes and the chart will be denser. a dense chart means you can't see every individual note and there will be too much for your brain to process. a faster note speed means that the chart will be spread apart meaning you can focus on the notes infront of you and they wont be packed together

you improved so much!! i have a few tips on how to get even better (im not saying you’re bad, when i was a beginner i couldn’t even clear normal) 1: i saw that you had a lot of late and early notes, so i recommend trying to put your speed up 0.5 or down 0.5 and see which one works better for you! if you get mainly lates, then you should low down your speed. but, if you have a lot of early notes, then you should turn up your speed! 2: where you look in the screen has a big impact on how your game turns out. personally, i look near the middle, and if i look at where it says “perfect, great, good, bad, miss” it makes me nervous and i end up doing badly. 3: for me, the early and late indicator distracts me a lot. i would only use it when im trying to see what speed i should use, but if you’re already used to it and it doesn’t distract you, then you don’t need to change it! i hope these tips helped!

HII!! Im glad u did ur best :D!! Tbh this is good for a beginner like u! i also struggled when i was a beginner too lol. But, ill give u some tips on how to get better! (Not meant to offend that you are bad. Js giving u tips to improve <3) -I recommend u to play on 9.0 speed or more because its easier to get perfects and greats w/o misses. Although it may seem fast, u will eventually get used to it :) (It depends on u if you prefer below 6.0 though!!) -You should try easy or normal songs (ex. Lvl. 10+ are fit for you) because if you try hard songs without mastering easy or normal, the gameplay for you will be hard. -Don't put full combos on first priority, but some misses should be prioritize because this can also affect the pointing system and health bar. (Misses don't actually affect gameplay but its to detect reaction time. This depends on you though!! :) ) Hope this helps!!
